Teddi Mellencamp, the daughter of renowned singer-songwriter, John Mellencamp, is hogging the limelight after she announced that her health is not okay. Teddi is widely known as a main cast member of Bravo’s reality show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Coming to her personal life, Teddi was married to an entrepreneur, Edwin Arroyave. However, in late 2024, the couple parted ways after 13 years of marriage.

It was John Mellencamp who revealed that his daughter, Teddi, is 'really sick' and suffering a lot as her cancer has spread to the brain. Teddi Mellencamp reunited with her ex-boyfriend, Ricci Rea, within three months after their breakup

After her divorce from Edwin Arroyave, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star found love again in Ricci Rea. According to a report by People, the duo was first spotted together on June 1, 2025, when they were cosying up during a walk in Encino, Calif. However, she confirmed her split with Ricci within 1 month of their relationship. Speaking about the split on her Diamonds in the Rough podcast, Teddi told co-host, Erika Girardi that she had called things off with Ricci, whom the media addresses as her 'mystery man'. She was quoted as saying:

"Right now, it started getting to the point where it’s starting to get a little bit more serious. I was like, ‘I don’t have the capacity for this right now. He’s a really nice guy, couldn’t be a nicer guy. You guys, the press needs to get on it a little bit faster because by the time they figure out who my mystery man was, we’re already done. I had to call things off. All of a sudden, I open up the freaking worldwide web. I’m like, ‘The mystery man.’ Oh, now you guys figured it out."

Later, in October 2025, the former couple had a reconciliation as reported by People. On October 5, 2025, the duo was seen smiling and having a conversation as they walked side by side in a LA neighbourhood. For their casual afternoon outing, Teddi wore a loose-fitting jumpsuit and a black baseball cap, while Ricci sported a white T-shirt and athletic shorts.

For the uninitiated, Teddi Mellencamp is battling stage 4 cancer. After her dad, John, shared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that Teddi got cancer in the brain and is suffering right now, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum opened up about her struggles on her Two T's in a Pod podcast. Teddi revealed that she has been struggling with massive Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She mentioned that she has been doing a lot of therapy and is also having a lot of rest. She was quoted as saying:

"I’ve been doing a lot of therapy, a lot of rest, a lot of hanging with the family. A lot of trying to get myself together because, apparently, I’m struggling with massive PTSD … from everything that happened. And I didn’t really realise it."

Teddi’s struggle with cancer began in 2022, when she was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. In April 2025, she shared a health update and disclosed to her fans that her cancer had progressed to stage 4. But in October 2025, she shared good news related to her health. On October 3, 2025, episode of her Two T's in a Pod podcast, she shared that her cancer has gone. She was quoted as saying:

"Just to give a little life update to you guys, I had my immunotherapy yesterday, and I did my scans, and at this point there is no detectable cancer... When they told me, I was in such shock. I was like, numb... I'm still going to be having days when I'm feeling sick and stuff because I still am in immunotherapy, so I'm still fighting because you have to be."
