Recently, we got hold of some inside glimpses of Nita Ambani's 60th birthday celebration at the Jio World Plaza. In the pictures, we can see the stage filled with many people, who surrounded Nita, while she cut her huge fondant birthday cake. However, we couldn't get a clear glimpse of the birthday girl or the cake, but she indeed enjoyed a musical night. In yet another picture, we can see a piano placed on one corner of the stage while Nita Ambani's picture was on display on the LED screen, along with a note, which reads:

For the unversed, Nita Ambani married Mukesh Ambani in 1985 and are blessed with three children; Isha, Akash and Anant Ambani. While Nita Ambani has been a hands-on mommy for years now, she was once told about the zero chances of her embracing motherhood. In an interview with iDiva way back in 2011, Nita recalled how at the age of 23, she was told that she could never become a mother. Speaking about the same, she said:
“A few years after I got married, I was told by the doctors that I would never have children. Even when I was in school, I would write long, copious essays titled, when I’ll be a mother, here I was at the age of 23 being told that I would never conceive. I was shattered. However, with the help of Dr Firuza Parikh, who is one of my closest friends, I first conceived my twins!”
Earlier this year, Nita Ambani was felicitated with the prestigious Citizen of Mumbai Award 2023-24 from the Rotary Club of Bombay. The award was a recognition of Nita's enduring contributions to society by creating transformative institutions in healthcare, education, sports, arts, and culture. For the event, Nita got decked up in a peach-hued suit with soft embroidery all over it and completed her look with danglers, wavy tresses, subtle makeup and a bindi. It was indeed a huge achievement for Nita and her happiness was clearly evident on her face.

Nita Ambani is a loving grandmother to her grandkids, Prithvi, Veda, Krishna and Aadiya. Earlier, in an interview with The Week magazine, she opened up about her role as a grandparent and revealed that her only job is to give unconditional love to her little munchkins. Calling herself a hands-on grandmother, Nita stated that she doesn't interfere in her kids' jobs as parents and ensures to give them enough space to do their things. In her words:
"Akash keeps on telling me, ‘Mom, you have to remember you are not the mother.’ But I am as hands-on as any grandmother would like to be, while also giving enough space to the parents to do their things. So luckily, I don’t have to discipline them now, that is the parents’ job. With my children, I was very conscious. My job is to give them unconditional love."
Here's wishing a very happy birthday to Nita Ambani!
