Influencer, Insha Ghai Shares Heart-Wrenching Glimpse From Husband, Ankit's Prayer Meet: 'This Loss'

Famous fashion influencer, Insha Ghai Kalra's entire world came crashing down after her husband, Aman Kalra, passed away at the mere age of 29. The duo rose to fame with their funny couple reels on Instagram, and Insha enjoys 272K followers on her Instagram. For the unversed, Insha and Ankit married each other in a lavish ceremony in February 2023.

On August 19, 2024, Insha lost her husband, Ankit forever. The influencer informed the world via an Instagram post about the same. On August 22, 2024, the family hosted a prayer meeting in Delhi for their son, Ankit. Insha took to her Instagram handle and shared a glimpse of her husband's huge photo, which was decorated with pink and white flowers.

Atop it, she penned a heart-wrenching note expressing how this loss hurts her. She added that she is unable to respond to every person's concerns and messages. Insha further expressed her gratitude for the people who prayed for them in these difficult times. She concluded the note by mentioning how Ankit is and will always be their favourite. She wrote:

"As much as this loss hurts, we're unable to respond to everyone. Your sympathy and support during this difficult time is appreciated, it has surely made a difference in our lives during this time of sorrow. He was and always will be our favourite, god's favourite."

When Insha penned a note while informing about her husband, Ankit's demise

It was on August 20, 2024, just a day after her Rakhi celebration, Insha took to her Instagram handle and shared a photo of her husband, Ankit. She informed her fans about his sudden demise at the mere age of 29. Atop the photo, it was written, 'In loving memory of Ankit Kalra. 24-3-1995-19-8-2024'. However, Insha didn't mention the cause of the death of her husband, but the news left everyone shocked.

Along with it, Insha penned a heart-wrenching note and expressed her deepest feelings for him. It was just one and a half years into their marriage, and at such a young age, the influencer was going through the worst phase of her life. She wrote:

"Take me one day, i promise to do things differently! Come back baby, please? I miss you."

Influencer community was left devastated after hearing about Ankit Kalra's demise

From Leena Bhushan to Bhumika Bahl, every other influencer and the couple's huge fanbase were left devasted on hearing about Ankit Kalra's sudden demise. There were some, who couldn't believe the news, while other prayed it to be fake. One user wrote, "Strength to you Insha." Another one commented, "Please stay strong Insha! Please baby. We all are with YOU. Rest in Peace, Ankit still cannot believe! But we will definitely take care of your better half. Promise." However, one of Insha's followers revealed that her husband, Ankit had a silent heart attack.

For those who don't know, Insha Ghai is a digital creator and enjoys 721K followers on her Instagram handle. She is also a designer and co-owns a clothing label, House of Styles, by Smriti & Insha. Her husband, Ankit, was also an influencer.
