Popular YouTuber Jack Doherty has been grabbing attention for the past few days for his Miami arrest on November 14, 2025. After being bailed out within 24 hours, it seems that the YouTuber has found yet another controversy for content, and his social media is proving just that. However, this time, his mostly questionable stunts seem to have finally caught up with him, and influencer Mia Monroe is not hiding her satisfaction.
For those unaware, Doherty was arrested Saturday morning in Miami after police said he stepped into the middle of a busy road to film content, blocked traffic, argued with the authorities, and continued filming despite multiple warnings. And now, Mia Monroe has spoken up on behalf of the creator community.

The 22-year-old YouTuber looked nonchalant when he posted his own USD 3,500 bail and even told TMZ that it was the “worst day” of his life. Unlike Doherty, who, despite his growing list of controversies, cites his arrest as a mere inconvenience, popular influencer Mia Monroe has expressed satisfaction at seeing someone finally show him his place. The creator told The Blast:
“I’m honestly surprised this is the first time he’s been arrested, but I can’t lie, seeing the video of him being handcuffed kind of made my morning. He’s exactly the type of influencer who gives the whole creator space a bad reputation, so it was really satisfying to see him finally face some consequences when normally he acts like he’s untouchable.”

Jack Doherty was found in possession of illegal substances, including suspected amphetamine and three cannabis cigarettes. Speaking about his bail, Monroe hinted at the terrible things Doherty has allegedly done to women without taking accountability for his actions, possibly hinting at his questionable vows to his ex-wife, McKinley Richardson, and his OnlyFans controversy. Mia said:
“Even though he’s already out on bail, hopefully this serves as a reality check and not just an opportunity for him to make more garbage content. Also hoping his karma doesn’t end here, especially when you remember the (allegedly) awful things he’s done to women with zero accountability.”

Doherty’s relationship with his ex-wife, McKinley Richardson, was far from stable. Their livestream wedding in Vegas became tabloid fuel in 2024 for all the wrong reasons. During the ceremony, Doherty read vows in front of her father, claiming she would get nothing in a divorce and he would own all of her OnlyFans earnings. Richardson’s father reportedly cried after hearing them.

McKinley later said the 22-year-old YouTuber pushed her to join OF, blurred the lines of their relationship, and used her to boost his views. She claimed he played on her insecurities for content, flirted with other girls in front of her, and even invited women to twerk on him. She said he bought club signs mocking her name and made her look stupid, insisting things were “different off camera.”

Only two months into the marriage, the couple parted ways. Following Doherty’s arrest, wild conspiracies trended claiming McKinley orchestrated a “revenge arrest,” though there is zero evidence to support this.
After Jack’s bail, many saw it as just another controversial yet viral moment, but others believe his charges are quite serious this time and could even lead to a 7-year jail term. But how accurate are these claims? Let’s do a fact-check.

On November 14, 2025, after arresting him for creating a ruckus in the busy Entertainment District, the Miami police detained Jack Doherty after finding him in possession of drugs and illegal substances, including half of an orange amphetamine pill (Schedule II controlled substance) and three hand-rolled marijuana cigarettes. Currently, the influencer is facing charges of felony, for possession of amphetamine; misdemeanour, for possession of under 20 grams, and resisting a police officer.

Under Florida law, felony charges can carry a sentence of up to 5 years in prison, with each misdemeanor charge adding 1 year. Considering the YouTuber’s reported charges, the maximum possible sentence is indeed seven years. So the figure circulating online is legally correct. However, whether he actually gets anywhere near that is another story.
After less than 24 hours in custody, Jack Doherty walked free and went straight back to social media. He posted footage of his arrest, which quickly passed a million views, along with clips of himself smiling as he left jail. In one viral TikTok, he even wore a shirt printed with his own mugshot while posing with rapper 6ix9ine, aka Daniel Hernandez. Critics say the move proves he still treats the situation like content rather than taking any real accountability.
Doherty has yet to make a formal statement about his charges. Miami Beach Police say more information will come as the case moves forward. For now, he is back online, seemingly embracing all the drama.
