After Sara Ali Khan made a grand debut with her film Kedarnath in 2018, people had a lot of hopes for the debut of her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan. Sara rooted for him at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023 and shared how he had started shooting for his film, but it seems like netizens refuse to see him as an actor, as they strongly share their disapproval of the film.
Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor-starrer, Nadaaniyan, were released on Netflix on March 7, 2025. The romantic drama stars Ibrahim as 'Arjun Mehta', an ambitious Gen-Z boy who wants to study and secure a high-paying job. On the other hand, 'Pia Jai Singh' played by Khushi Kapoor, is a young girl who is in love with 'love'.
The story revolves around the two and how they are united in a twisted tale of love as Pia pays Arjun Rs. 25,000 every week to act as her boyfriend. Over the course of time, their relationship gets entangled in a web of drama, passion and strange emotions. While the storyline seems intriguing, viewers failed to connect with the acting of the two.
Ibrahim Ali Khan is the son of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan. On the other hand, Khushi Kapoor is the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. The fact that these two come from highly prestigious families of Bollywood celebrities and failed to act left everyone surprised. A clip from the film was uploaded on Reddit, and since then, the internet has been having a meme fest.
