Hrithik Roshan is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. The actor never leaves a chance to mesmerise his fans with his unparalleled acting skills and jaw-dropping looks. Moreover, the actor has proven his mettle in acting by working in films like Vikram Vedha, War, Krrish, Dhoom 2, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Krrish 3, Jodhaa Akbar, Koi...Mil Gaya and many more. And now, as his film, Koi... Mil Gaya completed 20 years on August 8, 2023, Hrithik opened up about how he could resonate with the character of the film, 'Rohit'.
In an interview with ANI, Hrithik Roshan opened up about his film, Koi... Mil Gaya. Talking about the same, the actor revealed how he could resonate with the character of 'Rohit'. Hrithik mentioned that, just like 'Rohit', he too was bullied during his school days. Reflecting on it, he said that there were times when he didn't want to go to school because of his seniors. In his words:

"I related with Rohit's character completely. Growing up, I was bullied due to my stutter. On days I wouldn't want to got to school and I would cry to my mother."

Further, Hrithik revealed that a scene from the film where 'Rohit's' scooty was broken by 'Raj' was actually inspired by his own life. Talking about the same, the Jodhaa Akbar actor revealed that in his school days, he used to have a BMX cycle which was really close to him. However, he was left heartbroken when some of the seniors from his school broke his cycle. Mentioning that his personal experiences helped him play the character of 'Rohit', Hrithik said:
"The scene where Rohit's scooty is broken by Raj and his friends actually happened to me in real life. I had a BMX cycle that was my most treasured possession as a child. My cycle was broken by some senior boys, and I was heartbroekn. The vulnerability that was required for Rohit's character, life had already given me through my personal experiences."
In an interview with The Indian Express, Hrithik had opened up about his school days. Talking about the same, the actor said that his school days were really painful. He even revealed that in childhood, he used to stammer alot, because of which he was bullied at school. Hrithik even recalled how he was alone while growing up, as he had no friends or girlfriends. In his words:
"I have sometimes felt that life is very unfair. In school, I had such a bad stammer that I couldn’t speak. I never had any friends, or girlfriends. I was very shy, and would come back from school and just cry. School days were very painful."

Talking about Hrithik Roshan's personal life, the actor was earlier married to his childhood sweetheart, Sussanne Khan. However, the duo decided to part ways in 2014 after living a blissful married life for 14 years. Now, the ex-couple is peacefully co-parenting their sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Currently, the actor is in a happy relationship with Saba Azad.
