Popular Indian singer and rapper, Yo Yo Honey Singh is in trouble after he skipped to appear before the Delhi Court on August 28, 2021, citing a reason that left the Metropolitan Magistrate, Tania Singh, furious. After which, the court issued a strict warning to the singer and his lawyer.

For the uninitiated, the couple has known each other for seventeen years. The duo were childhood sweethearts, and Honey Singh had tied the knot with Shalini Talwar on January 23, 2011. This year, in 2021, the duo had completed ten years of marital bliss. As per the reports of PTI, Shalini Talwar had accused Honey Singh of physically torturing her for the last 10 years.

On August 28, 2021, Honey Singh and his estranged wife, Shalini Talwar, were told to appear before the Delhi Court, in which their domestic violence case is in the trial process. While on one side, Shalini has appeared before the court on the other side, Honey Singh has moved a plea seeking exemption from appearing in the court, citing major health problems. However, it hasn't gone well with the Metropolitan Magistrate, Tania Singh, as she strictly warned the singer to respect the court's order.

The statement by the Delhi Court to Honey Singh's lawyer can be read as "Honey Singh has not appeared. You have not filed his income affidavit and are not prepared with the arguments." The court also added that the singer has 'one last opportunity' to appear before the Delhi Court on September 3, 2021, in the hearing of the domestic violence case filed against him by his wife, Shalini Talwar.

As per the reports of PTI, Shalini Talwar had accused Honey Singh of physically torturing her for the last 10 years. She had further claimed to prove the same, requesting the court to issue orders against him under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. In her plea, Shalini had also made a shocking indictment against her father-in-law, who had touched her inappropriately.

Talking about the same, Yo Yo Honey Singh's wife, Shalini Talwar, had revealed how her father-in-law, had once entered her room while she was changing her clothes, and in a drunken state, he had casually touched her chest. She had also accused her husband, Honey Singh, of having multiple affairs and indulging in casual sex with them. As per the report, Shalini had further claimed that she was beaten mercilessly by the rapper for posting their marriage pictures on social media.
