Hiten Tejwani Opens Up On His Much-Awaited Return As 'Karan Virani' In 'KSBKBT 2', 'Your Heart...'

One of the most popular television shows of the 2000s, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, recently returned to screen with the original 'Tulsi', Smriti Irani. Since its release, the show has been winning hearts for blending nostalgia with fresh twists and drama. Even though, viewers are giving it love, a lot of fans were wanting to see the return of Hiten Tejwani in the show and their wait is finally over as the actor reprised his role as 'Karan Virani', in one of the latest episodes. 

Hiten Tejwani opens up on his return on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2

In one of the recent episodes of Season 2 of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, viewers witnessed the much-awaited entry of Hiten Tejwani as ‘Karan Virani’. Viewers who wanted to see the reunion of ‘Karan’ and ‘Nandini’ got emotional after seeing it. Recently, in an interview with India Forums, Hiten opened up about his return and shared his happiness. He also called ‘Shanti Niketan’ as his real home. He was quoted as saying:

"Yes, very, very happy to be back. No matter where you are in the world, your heart always belongs to your real home, and for Karan, that home is Shanti Niketan. I want to thank the creators, writers, Ekta Kapoor, and of course my fans, because they made this possible."

Hiten continued to mention that his fans who were eagerly waiting for his comeback. He shared that since Gauri returned as ‘Nandini’, he received a lot of messages from viewers asking about his reunion. He shared that he is finally glad as he is back. In his words:

"They kept asking me, ‘Where is Karan? Why hasn’t he come back yet?’ Fans also wanted to see the kids and how the family dynamic would look now. I’m glad that moment has finally arrived. I’m back for good, and it feels wonderful."

Upcoming twists in the show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2

As per multiple reports, the makers of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2 are gearing up for an interesting twist in the show. Reportedly, ‘Mihir’ will announce that ‘Karan’ will now take charge as the business head of operations, which had been vacant for some time. In the show, the news will shock 'Hemant' who will question the decision but 'Mihir' will confirm it and give it to 'Karan'. This twist is expected to bring tension and hook viewers to the show.

Hiten Tejwani was born on March 5, 1974, in Mumbai. He began his acting journey with TV serials like Ghar Ek Mandir and Kaahin Kissii Roz, but his big break came with Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Over the years, he appeared in Kutumb, Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, Choti Bahu, Balika Vadhu and more. In his personal life, he married his co-star, Gauri Pradhan in 2004, and the couple has two children- son, Nevaan and daughter, Katya.
