Hina Khan Reveals Why She Could Not EXPOSE Her Scalp As She Fought Stage Three Breast Cancer

Hina Khan is one of the top actresses in the TV world. She has a massive fanbase. It was in 2024 when the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame star revealed to the world of being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. She never lost an ounce of hope and documented every slice of her journey as she fought the deadly disease. Hina had to undergo multiple rounds of chemotherapy that had its own set of side effects. Recently, the actress revealed the reason behind not showing her baldness amid her fight with stage three breast cancer.

Recently, Hina sat for an interview with Pinkvilla and revealed to Gayatri Nirmal that whenever she used to keep her scalp open, she used to get bouts of migraine. During an exclusive interview with the publication, the actress shared how she had once advised a worker at her home to quit having gutka. She remembered wearing a cap and showing the worker how cancer could affect overall health. The actress shared:

"Throughout my journey, I could not expose my scalp because I used to get migraines. The migraines did not last for 1-2 hours. Whenever I used to remove my cap or wig, within 15-20 minutes, I used to get migraine, and it used to continue for days."

Hina further revealed that she had got a lot of pigmentation and had scars from her pigmentation. Due to this, she had to keep herself covered the entire time and hence no snap of the actress was out.

Hina had earlier mentioned that she had removed her cap to show her worker at home the dire consequences of eating gutka. In fear, the worker stopped eating gutka from the very next day and she revealed how she motivated him to leave the bad habit. Going ahead in the interview, Hina shared how she got the motivation to show off her bald look. In her words:

"I developed a condition where I was unable to keep my scalp open for even 10 minutes. I used to sleep in three quilts at night throughout my chemotherapy journey. Three quilts, gloves, a cap, socks, and this is how I have slept throughout my chemotherapy. I used to shiver because I used to feel extremely cold. Due to this, I had to cover my scalp."

Hina, who was also seen in Bigg Boss 11, shared that she had mustered the courage to show off her bald head. However, she also had her own set of doubts but felt that she should not do so as she would not be able to do so. The actress confessed that there was no way that she could keep her scalp open and hence did not flaunt her head. Well on the TV sphere, the actress was last seen in Bigg Boss 18 making a guest appearance and was also seen in Rohit Shetty hosted, Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 where she came as a challenger.
