Hina Khan Performs Umrah In The Holy Month Of Ramadan With Brother, Amid Cancer Treatment

Hina Khan shares glimpses from her spiritual journey to Mecca

Hina Khan, who actively posts on Instagram, recently shared a new glimpse of her personal life for fans. She took to her Instagram stories and shared three photos from her recent trip to Mecca. In the pictures, Hina donned an olive green hijab and abaya, a traditional Islamic garment that covers the body. She completed her look with a white lace headband underneath her hijab and kept her makeup minimal. 

In the picture, Hina reportedly posed with her brother, dressed in white Ihram, the simple white clothing that male pilgrims wear during Umrah. Hina and her brother performed Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan amid her cancer treatment. Apart from her picture with her brother, she shared a glimpse of the place and penned: 

“Dil mai Aarzoo jagi Allah ne qubool farmaayi”

Hina Khan reveals the reason behind her discoloured nails 

Hina Khan took to her Instagram handle recently and shared a new photo of her nails. She mentioned that many fans have asked her questions about her discoloured nails. Consequently, she shared the shared the reason behind her nail colour. The Kasautii Zindagii Ki 2 actress shared that she didn't wear nail paint. Rather, Hina revealed that her nails were being discoloured due to a side-effect of her chemotherapy. It made her nails more brittle and dry; sometimes, they even lifted up from the nail beds. Despite all these side effects, she kept a positive perspective, highlighting that all this is temporary.

Hina Khan began her career by playing the iconic role of 'Akshara' in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which made her a household name. She won several accolades for her role and became runner-up in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and Bigg Boss 11. The actress next starred as antagonist 'Komolika' in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and featured in web series and movies like Hacked. The diva was last seen in Griha Laxmi.
