Hina Khan Recalls Her First Meeting With Longtime Beau, Rocky Jaiswal, 'I Wasn't Fond Of Him...'

Hina Khan is one of the highest-paid actresses on Indian Television. Since her first show, the actress became a household name and proved her versatility by playing positive and negative roles. Fans learnt about her real-life personality when she participated in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss 11. Apart from Hina's impressive career and personal life, her relationship with her beau, Rocky Jaiswal has often made headlines. In a recent appearance on a TV show, Hina Khan finally recalled her initial interactions with Rocky Jaiswal.

Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal are set to grace the upcoming episode of Celebrity MasterChef. The couple will join other contestants to close a perfect catering service for their wedding. Behind-the-scene clips from their appearance on the set made headlines, and during the show, they shared their lesser-known real-life love story. Beginning with their first meeting, Hina Khan revealed that she first met Rocky when he replaced someone to become the supervising producer of her first TV show. In her words: 

"I met him many years ago on the set of my first show, and he came in to replace someone else as a supervising producer."

Hina Khan, who has been with Rocky for more than 12 years, added that initially, she was judgemental towards him and didn't like him after their initial interactions. But he changed her perception after working hard in his new role, and they soon became thick friends. Recalling the memories, she said: 

"I wasn't fond of him without meeting him and was so judgmental. But he's a charmer, and I was really impressed with his way of working. Our connection grew through work, and we became friends for a long time." 

Rocky Jaiswal reveals what made him fall in love with Hina Khan 

After Hina Khan shared her story, Rocky Jaiswal revealed that respect was always important to him before love. Hina was extremely dedicated to her work, which impressed him. Moreover, he fell in love with her skills and her qualities as an individual. Rocky mentioned that they used to hug and greet each other every day when she came to work. But, one day, it suddenly felt different than usual. Sharing its significance, Hina said:

"That's when we realized it wasn't friendship anymore."

Hina Khan's fans were left shocked when the diva announced her breast cancer diagnosis in 2024. She has been constantly documenting her journey and sharing updates from her treatment with her fans on Instagram. During an interview with Curly Tales, she shared that having a mature partner by her side throughout the journey has made it somewhat easy. Getting emotional over her constant support, she mentioned; 

"When I take his name, I don't have words to explain what that man has done for me, how he has been with me, and how he has held my hand throughout. He will always do that—that's just the kind of man he is. I get overwhelmed; I choke up when I talk about him. Every woman deserves a man like him."
