Himesh Reshammiya Responds To Janhvi Kapoor's 'Koffee With Karan' Dig At Him, 'I Know...'

Himesh Reshammiya is a well-known singer, music composer, and actor who is making headlines after the release of his film, Badass Ravikumar. He has carved his name in the music world for his unique 'nasal' singing style and has given hit songs like Bekhudi, Teri Yaad, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, and more. However, the singer-actor has often received trolling for it. Several people mimic him to make fun of him, and despite that, Himesh continues to focus on his work. In a new interview, the singer reacted to Janhvi Kapoor's comment about his singing and workout videos. 

Himesh Reshammiya shares his views on Janhvi Kapoor's comment about him on Koffee with Karan

In an earlier episode of Koffee with Karan, Janhvi Kapoor shared that she likes to follow Himesh Reshammiya's social media accounts. When asked why, she said she enjoys watching him do bicep curls in the gym while singing his songs like Tandoori Nights from the 2008 movie, Karzzzz. On the show, Janhvi Kapoor mimicked him and laughingly said: 

"It's the best thing in the world. I love it."

It led to several memes being made about him that went viral. Himesh was shown one such meme during an interview with Pinkvilla. However, rather than being unhappy over it, the singer-actor took it in a fun way and mentioned how he knew about it. In his words: 

"Yes, I know. This is a very good thing. It has been so many years, but the likeability of 'Tandoori Nights' remains. We have millions of views; the word 'tandoori' is very lucky for me."

Himesh Reshammiya reveals he follows advice from Akshay Kumar while dealing with criticism 

In the same interview, Himesh Reshammiya was asked how he dealt with criticism. In his response, the music composer mentioned that if he cared about the criticism, he would have stopped working long ago. At the same time, if he had doubted himself, then he wouldn't have been here. Rather, Himesh prefers to focus on his work and prays everyone likes it. Recalling how he follows an important advice from Akshay Kumar, he said: 

"Akshay ji always says, 'We have all these formulas, listen to someone else's point of view and then improve it. If they have a certain POV, work on it and prove it to them. And today, I have seen the fruits of my hard work with Badass Ravikumar. Mujhe jo 6 dikhta hai, aapko 9 dikhta hai, point of view is subjective. One shouldn't feel bad about criticism. When 'Aashiq Banaya' came, there was so much trolling, but the same people danced to it in clubs."
