Hilary Duff is an American actress and singer. Over the years, she won several accolades, including a World Music Award, seven Kids’ Choice Awards, four Teen Choice Awards and two Young Artist Awards for her works. Currently, she is hogging the limelight for her new song, We Don’t Talk. She debuted this song at her first show in 18 years. It is noteworthy to mention that it was Hilary's first concert at London's O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire since 2015.
Hilary Duff sang the new song, We Don’t Talk at London's O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, which is part of her forthcoming album, luck… or something. During the show, the American singer debuted three songs from the album. However, it was the lyrics of We Don’t Talk that grabbed a lot of attention. Hilary seemed to be addressing her long-standing feud with her sister, Haylie Duff and their current equation in the first stanza of the song. The lyrics of the first verse can be read as:
"Don’t know when it happened / Not even sure what it was about. Cause we come from the same home, same blood. People ask me how you’re doing / I wanna say amazing, but the truth is that I don’t know / What I always end up saying is how. We don’t talk, we don’t talk about it / We don’t talk about anything anymore."

In the second stanza, Hilary seemed to talk about what went wrong in their relationship. She then seemed to open up about trying to work out their alleged fallout issues. She also hinted at emotional breakdowns. For the uninitiated, Hilary and Haylie have not appeared publicly since 2019, as per The New York Post’s Page Six report. The lyrics of the second verse can be read as:
"And if it’s ’cause you’re jealous / God knows I would sell it all, then break you off the bigger half. Let’s have it out / I’ll hear you out, you’ll hear me out on the couch / Get back to how we were as kids / Let’s break it down / So sick of being so sad about / How we don’t talk and you won’t talk about it."

Soon after videos of Hilary Duff singing, We Don’t Talk at London's O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire surfaced online, netizens flooded the comment section. A user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "This is the one about Haylie." Another user commented, "Why doesn’t she simply hash it out with Haylie tho? So sad." A third user wrote, "Hopefully they can find a way to patch things up, because once a bridge has burned, it can't be rebuilt, nor can it be replaced." Another user penned, "I love this. I have a sister like this."
