Hema Malini And Esha Deol To Organise A Separate Prayer Meet For Dharmendra After His 90th Birthday

Dharmendra's sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, had organised a prayer meeting in remembrance of their dad on November 27, 2025, in Mumbai. Dharmendra's second wife, Hema Malini, and daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol, missed the same. Now, they will be organising a separate prayer meeting in Delhi, and it has come after the 90th birth anniversary of the 'He Man'.

A separate prayer meeting for Dharmendra has been organised by his wife, Hema Malini, and daughters, Esha and Ahana. The prayer meeting is set to take place on December 11, 2025. Esha and her ex-husband, Bharat Takhtani, reportedly will be coming together. The prayer meeting will take place at Dr Ambedkar International Centre located in Janpath, New Delhi, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. According to a Hindustan Times report, Hema, Esha, and her ex-husband, Bharat, along with Ahana and her husband, Vaibhav Vora, have come to organise the prayer meeting for Dharmendra.

The prayer meeting held in Mumbai for Dharmendra saw his first wife, Prakash Kaur, along with their sons, Sunny, Bobby, and daughters, Ajeeta and Vijeta. The Mumbai prayer meeting held on November 27, 2025 saw many stars such as Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Shabana Azmi, Jackie Shroff, and Sidharth Malhotra to name.

It was on the same day that Hema Malini and her daughters had kept a puja at their house. Stars such as Mahima Chaudhry, Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja, and her son, Yashvardhan, had come to attend the same. Esha's ex-husband, Bharat, was also there. Hema, Esha, and Ahana had not attended the Mumbai prayer meeting held by Sunny and Bobby for Dharmendra. The reason was not known to anyone.

Dharmendra had married Prakash Kaur in 1954, with whom he had four kids. It was in 1980 when Dharmendra married Hema Malini and was blessed with two children. He was 89 when he passed away on November 24, 2025, days before his 90th birthday. Hema Malini, on Dharmendra's 90th birth anniversary, shared throwback pictures with the actor and penned:

"Dharam ji, happy birthday, my dear heart. More than two weeks have passed since you left me heartbroken, slowly gathering up the pieces and trying to reconstruct my life, knowing that you will always be with me in spirit. The joyful memories of our life together can never be erased, and just reliving those moments brings me great solace and happiness.”

Hema Malini added that she thanked God for her lovely years of togetherness with him and for their two beautiful girls. Hema Malini, in her note, called Dharmendra her love and prayed that he would always attain peace in life. Her heart-wrenching note read:

"I thank God for our lovely years together, for our two beautiful girls, who reaffirm our love for each other, and for all the beautiful, happy memories that will remain with me in my heart. On your birthday, my prayers for God to grant you the wealth of peace and happiness that you richly deserve for your humility, goodness of heart, and your love for humanity. Happy birthday, dear love. Our happy ‘together’ moments.”
