Harkirat Kaur, daughter of former Shiromani Akali Dal president, Sukhbir Badal, and Bathinda MP, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, tied the knot with Abu Dhabi-based businessman Tejveer Singh Toor on February 12, 2025. Renowned singer, Harshdeep Kaur also graced the wedding and added a touch of magic to the union with her soulful music. The wedding, which took place at the Badal family’s residence in Sultanpur, New Delhi, was a high-profile affair attended by political heads and elite guests. However, it was Harshdeep’s mesmerising performance that became one of the most memorable moments of the night.

Recently, Harshdeep Kaur took to her IG handle to share a glimpse of the intimate yet grand wedding of Harkirat and Tejveer. The Ikk Tara singer was seen on the stage, performing soulful melodies dedicated to the newlywed couple. Harshdeep stunned in a pastel green intricately embroidered sharara ensemble. She kept her hair open, donning her signature-style matching headscarf, adorned with a jewel at the front, making her look every bit as regal as her voice sounded.

The singer performed the melodious track, Meet Bhi Tu, Preet Bhi Tu, dedicating it to the newly married couple, filling the venue with love and serenity. The emotional newlyweds and the guests at the wedding were seen soaking in the blissful ambience as her powerful yet soothing voice resonated through the grand setting. Sharing glimpses of her special performance on Instagram, Harshdeep expressed her gratitude to the Badal family with a caption that read:

The grand wedding of Harkirat Kaur Badal and Tejveer Singh Toor, an Abu Dhabi-based businessman, was a star-studded affair attended by several political personalities. The elite guest list included Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, BJP MP Anurag Thakur, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union ministers Piyush Goyal and Nitin Gadkari, and the Chautala family from Haryana.

For their wedding day, the bride and groom looked stunning in pink and pastel-hued ensembles. The bride, Harkirat was dolled up in a pink intricately embroidered lehenga featuring detailed floral patterns and designs in silver and gold thread. She wore a matching dupatta draped over her head and shoulders. Ornate jewellery, including a heavy necklace, a maang tika, earrings and bangles completed her look. The groom, Tejveer looked handsome in a pastel pink-hued sherwani with detailed golden embroidery and embellishments, white churidar pants, a pink turban, and a matching dupatta draped over his right shoulder. His royal look was completed with a long pearl and gold necklace and a ceremonial sword.

The pre-wedding festivities of the couple kicked off with a sangeet ceremony at The Trident, Gurugram, where Bollywood singer, Mika Singh was seen setting the stage on fire. The traditional Jago ceremony was also an extravagant affair, with an electrifying performance by singer, Afsana Khan.
