'KGF' Actor, Harish Roy Passes Away At 55 Due To Thyroid Cancer, Last Video From Hospital Surfaces

Kannada actor, Harish Roy, in a piece of sad news, passed away in Bengaluru at the age of 55. He was battling with thyroid cancer, which had spread to his stomach. Harish Roy was best known for his work in the movie, Om and also the blockbuster film, KGF. He had a long fight with cancer and was being treated at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, located in Bengaluru. Now, a last video of Harish Roy has floated on social media, which is from the hospital, and it is extremely painful to watch.

Harish Roy's cancer, according to a One India report, had spread to his stomach and had made him extremely weak and also thin. Harish had shared with the world his experience of fighting thyroid cancer, and his medical health condition had drawn the attention of many. Now, the last video from his hospital bed went viral, where he was seen undergoing a painful medical procedure. Harish was looking pale as he lay on the hospital bed with a pipe near his nose. His stomach looked swollen, and two needles were pricked inside his stomach. The actor groaned in pain as the treatment was being done, and in his caption, he mentioned needing everyone's prayers and also blessings. The video was uploaded a week ago, and it seemed as if the medical treatment was done at the end of October.

Harish Roy was best known as a famous villain in Kannada cinema. In an earlier Instagram clip, Harish looked frail as he was taken on a stretcher into the ambulance. He had an oxygen cylinder with him, and visuals were all things sorrowful.

Harish Roy's cancer treatment bills reached Rs 70 lakhs

It was nine weeks back when a social media influencer named, Gopi Gowdru requested Harish Roy's fans to help him financially. He shared that Harish's single injection for his treatment went till Rs. 3.55 lakh, and doctors shared that three injections per cycle were prescribed. The cycle was of 63 days and the treatment cost went till Rs. 10.5 lakh and Harish's overall treatment went till Rs 70 lakh. Harish had also made a request to his fans for financial help related to his medical treatment, which was very extensive. Now that the news of Harish's demise has spread, his sea of fans and well-wishers are mourning his demise and remembering his brave struggle during his last days. There was an array of stars who had come ahead to support Harish during this time of crisis. Reportedly, Sandalwood star, Dhruva Sarja, had also come ahead to offer financial help for the recovery of Harish Roy.
