Hari Hara Veera Mallu has finally been released in theatres across the country, following its grand premiere on July 23, 2025. The film, which took over five years in production, underwent several changes from director and technician to lead actor, Pawan Kalyan, taking a break from the film to contest in AP elections and become the Deputy CM. While promoting the film, Pawan brought up his remuneration for Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
It was during the special premier event on July 23, 2025, that Pawan Kalyan addressed the rumours surrounding his remunerations for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The actor reflected on the chatter in trade circles about his paycheck for the film being between Rs. 11 crore and Rs. 20 crore. Whereas, he reportedly took Rs. 50 crore for his previous film, Bro. However, while he didn't give a clear answer, Pawan revealed that he will only consider his paycheck after the film has been released and is a hit. He stated:
"My remuneration for this…(laughs). I don't know; I'll consider it if it becomes a hit tomorrow. My idea is that the film should be released first and do well to safeguard the producer."
Pawan, who usually doesn't promote his films, addressed doing promotional events for Hari Hara Veera Mallu and shared that for him, these were extenuating circumstances. He added that at first, it was the coronavirus that delayed the film, and then it was a man-made political disaster. This is not the first time Pawan Kalyan has stated that he decided to promote the film out of a sense of responsibility towards the producer, AM Rathnam. He shared that he feels responsible for the film and stated:
"These are extenuating circumstances. I usually don't promote my films, and I feel producers have suffered because of me. First, there was Corona, a natural disaster and a man-made disaster due to politics. I now feel some sort of responsibility towards promoting films that have been delayed."
