While MI lost the latest IPL match against RCB, Mahieka chose to stay beside Hardik, the skipper of the Mumbai Indians. After an intense match, Hardik and Mahieka had a FaceTime moment, which was all things adorable. A while ago, a video shared by Viral Bhayani, featured Mahieka chatting with Hardik over a video call. She was wearing a sleeveless blue-hued ombre knit maxi dress and carrying a blue handbag.

The Men in Blue made India by winning the 2026 T20 World Cup title. Team India emerged as the winner of the tournament by defeating New Zealand. Following the remarkable win, Hardik Pandya received a peck on the cheek from his girlfriend. He also took a moment and gave a special shoutout to his ladylove, Mahieka. Hardik shared that ever since Mahieka came into his life, everything has been going incredibly right. In a post-match interview, Hardik said:

"I had been saying the same thing from the beginning-that we are going to win. I already knew that we were champions and that we would come back with this trophy. I even told Mahieka the same thing, 'Don't worry, we've got this.' I want to play for the team for another ten years and win ten more titles. And I honestly want to say one thing: ever since Mahieka came into my life, everything has been going right. There has been win after win."

In December 2025, the MI skipper lost his cool as a few paparazzi inappropriately photographed his girlfriend, Mahieka. He schooled the media for crossing the line. He slammed them for turning a private moment into cheap sensationalism. Hardik highlighted that Mahieka was captured from such an angle that no woman deserved to be photographed from. He wrote:

"I understand that living in the public eye comes with attention and scrutiny; it's part of the life I've chosen. But today something happened that crossed a line. Mahieka was simply walking down a staircase at a Bandra restaurant when paparazzi decided to capture her from an angle that no woman deserves to be photographed from. A private moment was turned into cheap sensationalism."

In the same note, Hardik mentioned that every woman deserves dignity and respect. They also deserve boundaries. He requested the media to carry out their keeping the ground of humanity. He wrote:

"This isn't about headlines or who clicked what, it's about basic respect. Women deserve dignity. Everyone deserves boundaries. To the media brothers who work hard every day: I respect your hustle, and I always cooperate. But I'm requesting you all, please be a little more mindful. Not everything needs to be captured. Not every angle needs to be taken. Let's keep some humanity in this game. Thank you."
