After their totally filmy wedding invite, inspired by the classic romantic Bollywood film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the adorable duo, Guneet Monga and Sunny Kapoor have now put their first step towards their happily ever after, and have begun celebrating their pre-wedding festivities.
On December 11, 2022, Guneet and Sunny hosted a lavish cocktail party to celebrate their union along with their family and friends, which included some of the most prominent celebrities of B-Town. For the event, Guneet looked beautiful in a glittery-gold lehenga. Opting for minimal makeup, Guneet accessorised her look with a gold necklace, matching earrings and two gold rings. On the other hand, her groom-to-be, Sunny, looked dapper in a royal blue, heavily sequined sherwani, and a black pyjama. They looked completely stunning.

Coming to the guest list of the cocktail party, we spotted some prominent A-listers from Bollywood, which included ace filmmakers to top-of-the-league actors. For instance, we spotted the ace filmmaker, Karan Johar arriving together with Neha Dhupia. While Karan looked dapper in a navy-blue printed jacket and black trousers, Neha looked stunning in a pastel green drape dress.
Up next, we could also spot popular actor, Chunky Panday, who arrived hand-in-hand with his dear wife, Bhawana Panday. While Chunky donned a casual look with a T-shirt, denim jacket and a pair of jeans, his wife looked gorgeous in a yellow-hued satin dress. On the other hand, the cocktail party was also graced by the talented actress, Konkona Sen Sharma, who opted for a sober look and wore a grey-hued silk saree.

Guneet and Sunny hosted their sangeet ceremony amidst the presence of their close family members. Taking to her IG handle, Guneet shared some candid moments from the festivities, and the couple looked their happy best, enjoying every bit of it. For their sangeet, Guneet wore a red-hued floral-designed lehenga. With nude makeup and mehendi-clad hands, Guneet wore black sunnies and accessorised her outfit with minimal jewellery that included a unique kamarbandh made of cowrie shells. On the other hand, her to-be-groom, Sunny, complemented her and wore a saffron-hued kurta-pyjama.
For their haldi, both the bride and groom-to-be twinned in hues of bright yellow. While Sunny looked handsome in a yellow kurta and cream-hued pyjama, Guneet, on the other hand, looked stunning in a yellow saree paired with a cream-hued sleeveless blouse. Keeping her look simple and fuss-free for the event, she accessorised it only with floral jewellery pieces.
