TV actress, Gulfam recently completed 12 years of successful marriage with her husband, Ali Hussain. In a recent interview with Times Entertainment, the actress shared about her special bond with Ali. Gulfam also revealed how she and Ali met. Speaking of the same, Gulfam shared:

“My marriage and married life is indeed special, we met under unusual circumstances and fell in love. Ali is my friend, my confidant and my guide in many ways. There is nothing I can't tell him.”

Further in the interview, Gulfam shared that the secret behind a successful marriage is nothing but love and understanding with a lot of patience. The actress talked about how important it is for married couples to enjoy each other’s company. Sharing her insights about the secrets behind a forever journey, Gulfam said:

“Love, understanding, loyalty and friendship with a bit of patience and lots of gratitude are the secrets of a successful marriage. It is important to have fun, enjoy your life in each other's company. Make a day of every opportunity you get.”

Gulfam Khan talked about her anniversary plans this year

In the same interview, Gulfam talked about the plans she had for her 12th marriage anniversary. The actress shared that usually, the duo goes out for stay-cations as both have a very busy work schedule. Gulfam also shared that June is generally a travel month for the couple, as it is her birthday month. Sharing her anniversary plans this year, Gulfam said:

“We stayed at the Marriott and cooled our heels, followed by a romantic dinner. I prefer pooling my gift money for all occasions and buying big grand things once a year. Last year it was a Chanel bag. This year it will be something else. And of course as he travels extensively there are hordes of gifts I get every month.”

Born on June 6, 1975, in Mumbai, Gulfam started her acting career in 2003 with a television soap opera, Lipstick. Apart from television, Gulfam also made her presence in Bollywood films, including Ek Hasina Thi, Astitva, Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum, and Lakshmi. She also appeared in Amir Khan starrer, Talaash. The actress is known in the industry as a Tech Junkie and has a great interest in painting. The actress completed her schooling at Silver Beach High School, Juhu. Later, Gulfam graduated from Tolani College of Commerce in Mumbai.
