Groom Left The Internet In Splits, Delivers A Pre-Wedding Speech With A PPT For His Doctor Bride

Weddings are one of the most special milestones for a couple. They mark the pure and wholesome love between two people and the coming together of their families. Indian weddings are fun, filled with love, and most importantly, filled with sweet, heartfelt gestures.

A groom turned romantic as he decided to put a unique and loving spin on traditional wedding vows. The man incorporated a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) into his pre-wedding speech, which wowed the internet. His creative approach to show his love for his wife-to-be left the viewers amused and thoroughly entertained. Rahul Bhagtani shared the viral video on his official Instagram handle and has since won hearts across social media platforms.

The video begins with Rahul setting the tone of his speech. He started by saying that he'd like to share a few words before he committed to spending the next forty listenings, setting a humourous mood for the rest of his speech, which included a fun and light-hearted PowerPoint presentation. Soon, he played the slide titled, "My Love for Pooja. PS – I Make the Best Slides." Starting his speech, he was quoted as:

"You look so beautiful today Pooja. Lucky to call you my wife soon and being married to a dermat has a lot of advantages."

The groom further requested that the first slide be played. The slide featured an image of a small Nivea men's cream container. Looking at the slide, he asked the audience a rhetorical question: "Do you guys know what this is?" However, without waiting for a response, he answered that it was his entire skincare routine before meeting his soon-to-be wife, Pooja, who happened to be a dermatologist.

The following slide showed a strong contrast to the first slide, with a multi-step skincare regimen courtesy of his fiancee. The groom acknowledged that he now looked 'pretty' and had 'glowing skin'. He credited Pooja for the skincare and stated that it was the secret behind his smooth and glowing skin. He further revealed what was in his routine now and stated:

"Daily usage of face wash, cream, lip balm, sunscreen, moisturiser, hand cream, body cream, etc."

Netizens react to the viral video

The video was posted with the caption, "My wife thought my wedding speech would be romantic…but it turns out it was a full-on roast session! 'Before marriage: Soap, water & Nivea cream. After marriage: A 10-step skincare routine.'" Soon enough, netizens were chiming in to share their views on the video. A user penned, "If my future husband doesn't do this, I'm not getting married!" Another quipped, "Pooja, you're setting impossibly high standards for the rest of us!"  

While many admired the groom's gesture, others couldn't resist and poked fun at him. A user stated, "Do you work in consulting? Even here, you had to make a PPT?" Another joked, "Some people just can't express themselves without slides!" An Instagram user penned, "Definitely, he is a pharma marketing person..."
