Govinda's Wife On Being Affected By His Affair Buzz, Says She's Still Insecure, '60 Ke Baad Log..'

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja are one of the much-loved couples in the Hindi film industry, who believe in keeping their personal lives private. The couple got married back in 1987, and they are parents to two kids, Tina and Yashvardhan. Sunita is known for her blunt remarks and she often makes it to the headlines with the same. Recently, she sat for an interview and expressed her wish to do something for her. She also mentioned how her husband, Govinda's link-up buzz actually affected her.

Sunita Ahuja expresses her wish to carve a career path for herself

Sunita Ahuja recently sat for an interview with HT, wherein she shared that she wants to do something for herself. Sunita added that every other woman should be independent and not always depend on their fathers or husband. She further remarked that while growing up she had this urge to get married and settle down, which she did. Sunita shared how she took care of her family and kids, as she never wanted that they would grow up with the help of maids. Sunita can be quoted as saying:

"I feel every woman should be independent. They shouldn’t be dependent on their husbands or fathers. While growing up, I always knew I wanted to get married and settle down. I did. I took care of my family, my husband and kids as I didn’t want them to grow up with maids. But now they have grown up and have a life of their own."

In the same interview, Sunita Ahuja further stated that she now wants to do something for herself and carve a career path. She added that she was managing Govinda's work, but he is not working now, and thus, she wishes to do something for herself. Talking about what ideas she has. Sunita mentioned that judging on a comedy show is her first preference, and apart from that, her daughter, Tina, and she are working on a podcast, and they have a lot of ideas. Stating that she feels alone, and thus, she wants to work, Sunita revealed:

"I was managing Govinda’s work but he, too, has stopped working since two years, so now I want to do something for myself and carve a career path. I feel alone so I want to be busy. Judging a comedy show on TV is something I am looking at. Shakal toh achi hai! Tina is working on a podcast with me and there are few other ideas we are working on."

Going further in the interview, Sunita Ahuja shared that she was affected by several link-up murmurs about her husband, Govinda. She stated that she had to keep a stone in her heart for the buzz about Govinda's link-up around. She also shared that she is still insecure as Govinda isn't working and she often thinks that he would engage in an affair. Sharing her opinion on how men change after 60, Sunita mentioned:

"Dil par patthar rakhna padta hai kyunki kabhi yahan link up, kabhi wahan. But often he would be working non-stop so time hi nahi tha affair karne ka. Ab woh kaam nahi kar raha hai, toh mujhe insecurity hai kahi affair na kar le. 60 ke baad log sathiya jaate hain!"

Sunita Ahuja revealed how Raveena Tandon said she would marry Govinda

Earlier, in an interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita Ahuja talked about a controversial remark that Raveena Tandon made on Govinda. She shared how once Raveena said she would marry the actor if she would meet him beforehand. Reacting to the same, Sunita said she could take Govinda and that she would get to know him.
