'Good Wife' OTT Release And Review, When And Where To Watch Priyamani Starrer Web Series

Priyamani is one of the finest actresses in the South Indian Film industry. She made her debut in 2003 with the Telugu film,  Evare Atagaadu. Not only Telugu, Priyamani also works in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi films. She has also made her presence in Hindi web series, and is now all set to make her debut in Tamil OTT with the web series, Good Wife. It is a woman-centric series starring Priyamani in a lead role. When and where to watch Priyamani's Good Wife

The Tamil web series starring Priyamani is a family drama which contains elements of legal proceedings and feminism. It is an Indian adaptation of the American web series with the same name. Good Wife will premiere on July 4, 2025 and is set to release on the OTT platform, JioHotstar. The Tamil web series will comprise six episodes, each with an average runtime of 30 minutes. All the episodes of the series will stream at the same time. The series will be available in many languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi and Bengali.

A brief storyline of the web series, Good Wife

Good Wife narrates a tale of a woman who rises up stronger after facing a midlife crisis due to her husband’s betrayal. The woman character, 'Tarunika', is played by Priyamani, and the whole story revolves around her. Sampath Raj portrays the role of Priyamani’s on-screen husband, whose scandalous video goes viral, challenging the couple’s 16 years of marital bliss. The series, which apparently looked like a family drama, soon transitions into a courtroom drama, where Priyamani plays a key role facing both professional and personal turbulence in life. In the series, Priyamani also portrays the role of a mother, who is struggling hard to do the best for her children.

Good Wife’s ensemble cast and crew

National award-winning actress Priyamani will be seen in a titular role in Good Wife, and veteran actor Sampath Raj will be seen playing the role of Priyamani’s on-screen husband. South Indian actor, Aari Arujunan, will also be an important part in the series. The series is directed by actor cum filmmaker, Revathy. This project marks the OTT directorial debut of Revathy, and Indian filmmaker, Halitha Shameem is assisting the former by serving as a writer.

Good Wife’s trailer review

Ever since the trailer was released on June 26, 2025, by OTT platform JioHotstar, netizens have flooded the comment sections with their reviews. A Priyamani fan wrote, "Can't wait to watch you My Love @pillumani." Another user commented, "Looks super intriguing... Can't wait to witness another gripping series on Hotstar". Lauding Revathy in the role of a director in OTT and Priyamani in a lead role, a user wrote, "simply contended & ingriguing trailer in recent times, Really excited for this series to see the new director avatar of Revathi mam & looks like we can expect a stunning performance from priyamani mam after 'Paruthiveeran'." Sharing excitement to watch the series, one user penned, "Trailer is mass.. How will the series be.." Another user commented, "Woahhh good content after a long time."
