Glen Powell Addresses His Affair Rumours With 'Anyone But You' Co-Star, Sydney Sweeney

Glen Thomas Powell Jr., aka Glen Powell, as he is popularly known, is a famous American actor. He has been a part of several movies like The Dark Knight Rises, The Expendables 3, Hit Man, Devotion and more. He had his biggest break through the comedy-horror series, Scream Queens. 

Besides Glen’s professional front, his personal life has also been the talk of the Tinsel Town. Be it his breakup from longtime girlfriend, Gigi Paris or his rumoured link-up with Anyone But You co-star, Sydney Sweeney. The hunk has always been in the news, and recently, he attracted much media attention as he finally spoke out about his equation with Sydney Sweeny.

Glen Powell addressed his affair rumours with Anyone But You co-star, Sydney Sweeney

Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney first sparked romance rumours when the paparazzi released their loved-up pictures from the sets of their movie, Anyone But You. The rumours further escalated when Glen Powel broke up with his longtime girlfriend, Gigi Paris, during his shooting tenure of the film.

Glen Powell finally addressed the rumours and expressed his dismay over the situation. He felt that the rumours were unfair and harsh on him. However, he acknowledged the fact that it is a part of his profession, and he has to deal with it to sustain himself in the industry. Talking more about the rumours, Glen added:

“When all that stuff happened, you know, publicly, it felt disorienting and unfair. But what I’m realising is that’s just a part of this gig now."

Sydney Sweeney also addressed the speculation of her dating Glen Powell

While talking to the media outlet, People, Sydney Sweeny revealed that the ‘alleged affair’ rumours have come to her attention, and she and Glen had a good laugh. She added that her equation with Glen is extremely professional, and the duo shares mutual respect and adoration for one another. Sydney further added:

“It’s a romcom, that’s what people want! Glen and I don’t really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much, he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker.”

The director of the movie, Anyone But You, Will Gluck, praised Sydney Sweeny for smartly handling the situation 

The link-up rumours of Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell took a toll on the latters mental health. However, Sydney Sweeney tackled the situation well and normalised it. Talking to the media outlet, Variety, the director of the movie, Anyone But You, Will Gluck, added:

“Sydney is brilliant at a lot of things, including how to deal with social media; she didn’t emotionally internalise it. It was crazy, but after a while, it became normal.”
