Gautam Adani Visits Ajmer Sharif Dargah With Wife, Priti Adani, Offers 'Makhmali Chadar' And Flowers

Gautam Adani is a billionaire who founded the Adani Group. He is ranked as the 2nd richest person in Asia and placed 25th in the world with a net worth of a staggering USD 60.4 billion. The businessman is one of the most influential people in the world and was also given a place in Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world in 2022.

According to a report by ANI, Gautam Adani and Priti Adani were spotted at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah on February 15, 2025. The shrine is located in Ajmer, Rajasthan, and honours the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. It is also considered to be one of the holiest Sufi shrines in the country. According to the report by the media agency, the Adani family offered a makhmali chadar and flowers at the shrine.

However, Gautam Adani and his wife, Priti were not the only ones who visited the shrine. The couple was accompanied by his brother, Rajesh Shantilal Adani and his wife, Shilin Rajesh Adani. The two couples were warmly welcomed at the shine by Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin, Dargah Ajmer Sharif and the Chairman of the Chishty Foundation. Gautam took to his X account to share a few pictures from his visit and captioned the post:

"Sabhi ke liye barkat and salamati ki duaain. #AjmerSharif."

Gautam Adani arranged for a vegetarian langar at Ajmer Sharif Dargah

Gautam Adani emphasised the importance of spiritual values in guiding ethical leadership and social responsibility. He further expressed his immense gratitude for the blessings he received at Ajmer Sharif. A pure vegetarian langar was also prepared and served to thousands of people present at Dargah Ajmer Sharif on behalf of the Adani family. The visit concluded with a special Dua-e-Khair.

Gautam Adani arrived at Ajmer Sharif with his family members, where they offered prayers, seeking the blessings of the divine. During their visit, Haji Syed Salman Chishty honoured Gautam Adani with the 'Global Peace Award' for his exceptional leadership, visionary contributions, philanthropic initiatives, and unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes. The release by Haji Salman Chishty read:

"The visit symbolized a profound commitment to the spiritual values of inclusivity, unconditional love, service, and devotion--principles that Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty (RA) preached and lived by."

The release by Haji Salman Chishty further acknowledged the Adani Group's presence at the forefront of nation-building, socio-economic upliftment, and global development, playing a vital role in fostering progress, sustainability, and inclusive growth. They further added that the business tycoon embodies the message of love and service Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz preached. It read:

"Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (RA) preached the message of universal love, service to humanity, and peace. Gautam Adaniji and his blessed family have embodied these principles through their tireless commitment to the well-being of millions. We extend our heartfelt prayers for their continued success in uplifting communities, empowering the underprivileged, and contributing to a more peaceful and prosperous world."
