Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan was known to be a diva back in the '90s. She was often compared to the likes of Meghna Gulzar, and Mahima Chaudhary because of her gorgeous hairstyle. Her hair, makeup, and style were so on point that Shah Rukh Khan chased her to Mumbai. Gauri used to be the best dressed at Bollywood parties and at award functions which she used to attend with King Khan. Now, an old clip has gone viral of Gauri which is a compilation of her donning the iconic vertical bindi, sindoor, necklace over sarees and Indian outfits. Fans feel that she is exuding 'Komolika' vibes and compare her to young Priyanka Chopra.
Gauri looked no less than a Bollywood actress back in the '90s. Just like Urvashi Dholakia impressed the small screen with her iconic dialogues, the look from 'Komolika' her dramatic style was well noted. 'Komolika's' character was known for her massive bindi style and it seemed like Gauri's style was also shaped by them. She donned the verticle-style bindi with neatly tied hair in a bun. She has always had a pretty face and it seemed like she was her stylist. As seen in the compilation clip, Gauri's makeup and dressing style were all things natural.
One user on Instagram wrote that Gauri looked like Priyanka Chopra and commented, "Why did she look like young Priyanka Chopra in some parts"? Another one wrote, "Realized Suhana and Aryan are the younger version of their parents." A third user also commented, "That was the style then. It was happening we all admired that in school. That was the trend back then, many ladies were decked up just like that."
Well on the other side, Urvashi Dholakia best known for essaying 'Komolika' had experimental fashion and was known for putting arrow-shaped sindoor. She too was innovative with her fashion sense and was known to be strikingly innovative.
Gauri who is from Delhi, once in an interview with the Hindustan Times shared that her fashion sense had evolved from wearing fitted outfits to styling towards the de-glam look which she found was equally comforting as well as elan. Gauri who is always seen in highly prolific events spoke about her sartorial picks and revealed:

"Growing up, the rage or style was all about fitted dresses and stilettos. Now, style is first about comfort, but that doesn’t mean sacrificing elegance... I don’t follow trends. As a designer, I appreciate beautiful craftsmanship that stands the test of time.”

Gauri further revealed that she wants to leave behind a legacy of authenticity and the belief that true beauty comes from being comfortable and happy in your own skin. She feels that through her design work, style, and values her kids will also follow the path put ahead by her. Gauri also wants the next generation to embrace their individuality, cherish their journey, and approach life with a sense of purpose and passion.
