Gaurav Khanna Watches His Journey In 'BB19', Breaks Down After Seeing His Wife, Akansha Chamola

The countdown for the Bigg Boss 19 finale is almost over. With only one day left for the most anticipated final episode to air on December 7, 2025, we have already gotten a look at the top 5 contestants. For those unversed, the reality show began its journey nearly three-and-a-half months ago, premiering in August 2025 with 16 participants. Now, ahead of its finale, the hit reality TV show is offering its finalists the chance to revisit their time in the BB19 house. If you are wondering how, it is through a special journey video. Among the top 5 participants, Gaurav Khanna became the first contestant to watch his journey video, something that left him visibly emotional.  

Gaurav Khanna was introduced as the "Superstar of TV" 

The fan-favourite Hindi television show, Bigg Boss 19, is in its final leg and recently aired its 104th episode, two days before its highly anticipated grand finale. While a lot happened during the episode, the highlight came in the form of a special journey video, especially curated for each of the five finalists. For those unversed, the top 5 participants who are currently battling to win the BB19 trophy include Gaurav Khanna, Farrhana Bhatt, Tanya Mittal, Pranit More, and Amaal Mallik.  

Among these participants, it was none other than Gaurav Khanna who was selected first to take a walk down memory lane after spending 15 weeks in the BB19 house. To watch the journey video, he was asked to stand at a podium inside an aquarium-style setup. While introducing him as the "Superstar of TV", the video highlighted how his journey in the house was full of risks, one of which was taking an entirely different route than the pattern we are accustomed to seeing, whether in this season or its previous ones. He was also appreciated for avoiding the typical clashes over kitchen duties or any other pointless arguments that tend to happen between housemates. Instead, what stood out was Gaurav's focus on maintaining his dignity and grace.  

Along the same lines, another thing his special journey video emphasised was the value of his industry reputation, which he slowly built over two decades. Gaurav's consistent gameplay was also applauded, as was his strong bond with fellow BB19 participants, Mridul Tiwari and Pranit More. From his determination, strategies, and efforts to become captain of the house to his housemates foiling his plans, all of this was captured in the video. However, what caught viewers' eyes the most was the viral moment when Tanya Mittal and Farrhana Bhatt's chanting, "GK kya karega?" was shown.

Another notable moment in the video was when Bigg Boss host, Salman Khan, described Gaurav Khanna as the "ultimate green flag" during his entry. Throughout the show, Gaurav's not-so-friendly dynamic with Amaal has been a bit of a topic of debate among social media users. In a clip, Amaal calling him weak is shown once again, and later, Salman questioning his contribution to the show was also highlighted.  

What moved viewers' hearts, as well as Gaurav's, during the montage was the moment his wife, Akansha Chamola, entered the house, along with all the lovey-dovey moments they shared. Gaurav's emotional side and his love for his wife were also highlighted by the makers, as the video featured what we saw in one of the most recent episodes: him being accused in the media of using his fatherhood with his wife to gain viewers' sympathy. Gaurav could no longer control himself and promptly broke down after watching his wife and stated: 

"Koi nahi baby, hum kaafi hai, hum kaafi hai jab tak you are not ready." 

The montage finally ended with Salman Khan assuring him that they would work together in the future. Following this, he thanked Salman and Bigg Boss for providing him with this opportunity. He also didn't forget to thank all his fans who supported him throughout his time on the show, and he expressed his gratitude to them.
