Gauahar Khan Reveals She Is 'Nervous' About Her Second Pregnancy, 'You Still Wonder If You Are...'

Gauahar Khan is a highly admired actress in India's entertainment industry. She has impressed fans by wearing multiple hats of a model, actress, and host, along with being a wife and doting mother. She rose to fame with her stint in Ishaqzaade, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Bigg Boss 7. Gauahar's ability to manage her work and motherhood is considered the representation of a modern woman. Recently, she delighted her fans by revealing that she is set to become a mother for the second time, and now, she opened up about the news in detail. 

Gauahar Khan reveals she is nervous about her second pregnancy 

Gauahar Khan is set to become a mom for the second time and is already a mother of Zehaan, who will soon turn two years old. Consequently, when she recently walked for the Bombay Times Fashion Week Spring Edition, the diva was asked if her experience in her second pregnancy was similar to her first one. Gauahar mentioned that every pregnancy is unique, but she feels the same excitement and nervousness about the little member that will soon arrive in her life. She said:

"It is very different. Each pregnancy is different. I'm equally nervous for the second one. You still wonder whether you are doing everything right. I feel like I'm going through it for the first time. I am excited, elated, and overjoyed... you get to experience the same feelings again. You still feel those pulls, and you're still making those calls to the doctors. If I need my calm, I call Zaid. He's my biggest support."

When asked if motherhood has changed anything for her, Gauahar shared that it has made her more patient as a person. At the same time, looking after her son made her appreciate her mother's efforts. She highlighted that people often take their mothers for granted, but the efforts can't be described in words. However, a girl only understands that after she herself becomes a mother. 

Gauahar Khan reveals she walked the ramp when she was two months pregnant with her son, Zehaan 

Gauahar Khan, who is five months pregnant, walked the ramp and flaunted her baby bump in a fusion pastel green-hued pant saree with intricate embroidery of red and blue-hued flowers on the pallu border. She kept her hair simple and wore heels, stealing the limelight. After the show, the actress mentioned it was a feeling of deja vu because she did something similar during her first pregnancy. She said:

"It's very special. In fact, no one knows that I had walked the ramp when I was pregnant with my son Zehaan. I was two months pregnant then, so I had not announced it. This time, I was very nervous because, obviously, your appearance changes. However, I felt more empowered."

Gauahar Khan shares she will continue to work during her pregnancy 

Gauhar Khan shared a special musical video with her husband, Zaid Darbar, to announce her pregnancy. Fans were overjoyed over it, but some wondered if the actress would continue to work. In the same conversation, Gauahar mentioned that during her first pregnancy, she had shot action scenes till her fourth month. Moreover, she plans to do the same time during her second pregnancy. She said:

"During my first pregnancy, I was shooting an action show till the fourth month. This time around, too, I was shooting some action scenes till the third month. Work-wise, I will continue until I can. When I was pregnant with Zehaan, I worked till the eighth month."
