Gauahar Khan And Husband, Zaid Darbar Reveal The Name Of Their Second Child, Gives First Glimpse

Gauahar Khan is one of the most loved faces of Indian television and films. Over the years, she has built a huge fanbase through her acting, hosting, and fun personality. She got widespread recognition after winning the reality show, Bigg Boss 7. Apart from that, the actress embraced motherhood for the second time on September 1, 2025, and recently Gauahar and Zaid have unveiled the name of their baby boy.

On September 28, 2025, the Fauji 2 actress, Gauahar Khan took to her Instagram handle to share a beautiful picture of Zehaan and her newborn’s hands. Along with it, she revealed the name of her baby boy and shared that Zehaan is introducing his little brother. In her caption, she shared that she and her husband, Zaid Darbar have named her child Farwaan. The beautiful name is derived from the Arabic root F-R-A, found in the Quran, which has meanings related to creation, invention, fur, or covering. The name, Farwaan means wealthy. Gauahar Khan’s caption can be read as:

"FARWAAN. Zehaan introduces his little brother. Allahumma baarik lahu."

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar’s love story and marriage

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar's love story is no less than a fairytale. They first connected in mid 2020, when Zaid slid into her Instagram DMs. Soon, they started talking and gradually their bond grew, first as friends and then it blossomed into something beautiful. The couple announced their engagement on November 5, 2020, sharing a sweet Instagram post.

Gauahar and Zaid tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on December 25, 2020, and later hosted a reception with close friends and family. Zaid is the son of music director, Ismail Darbar and the brother of Awez Darbar, who is currently seen on the reality show, Bigg Boss 19.

The couple announced they were expecting their first child in December 2022. Their son, Zehaan was born on 10 May 2023, with a joyful post. Later, in April 2025, the couple revealed they were expecting again and on September 1, 2025, their son, Farwaan was born. In July 2015, the actress appeared on Debina's podcast, in which she opened up about miscarriage and second child. Gauahar Khan shared:

"There was no time, if I had to have a baby, i had to have a baby. At 38-39 ke age mein, I can't really think ki kaam ka kya hoga. Kaam toh aayega hi, if you are good. In fact, I was shooting throughout my first pregnancy. Funnily, mere dono pregnancy mein in the first 3 months, I was shooting action shows, so both my babies are going to be action babies."
