Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent has been grabbing all the headlines for all the negative reasons off lately. Recently, the show was graced by Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija, along with Ashish Chanchlani and Jaspreet Singh. Moreover, Samay Raina, Apoorva, and Ranveer's comments caused a stir online. FIR has been lodged against the trio with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women's Commission, who demanded strict action against the accused. Following this, several YouTubers and social media influencers have been slamming Ranveer and Samay, one of them being Gaurav Taneja.

Flying Beast, Gaurav Taneja slams Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia's insensitive remarks on India's Got Latent

Taking to his X (previously Twitter), Flying Beast, Gaurav Taneja criticised Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia for their insensitive remarks on the show, India's Got Latent. Taking a jibe at Samay's show, which has been constantly getting backlash for negative reasons, Gaurav wondered if the comedian would stop only after cancelling YouTube India. Tagging Samay, Gaurav Taneja penned: 

"Lagta hai #SamayRaina poore YoutubeIndia ko cancel karwa ke hi maanega. @ReheSamay"

Ranveer Allahbadia apologised after his inappropriate remarks on India's Got Latent

After the complaint was lodged against Samay, Apoorva, and Ranveer, the latter took to his social media handle and extended his apology. In a video message, he said that his comment was not only inappropriate but was not funny as well. He added that comedy was not his forte and answered the raised questions about his wish to use the social media platform like this with a 'no'. He further remarked that while he wouldn't give any justification for what happened, it was not at all cool on his part.

Ranveer further mentioned that the show was watched by people of all ages, and he doesn't wish to be a person to whom responsibility comes lightly. Ranveer said that family is the last thing that should be disrespected, and he needs to use this platform better, which he would be learning in a better way moving forward. He mentioned that he had asked the makers to cut the part featuring insensitive remarks of his in the show and asked for forgiveness as a human being.

For the unversed, on India's Got Latent's set Ranveer Allahbadia made some insensitive comments on family. On the show, the judges mainly roast the participants. On the show BeerBiceps, Ranveer asked some shocking questions to a contestant. Ranveer's question even shocked Samay. Ranveer asked the contestant if they would continue witnessing their parents to be intimate or put a stop to it forever by joining them. Well, such an uncomfortable question brought backlash for Ranveer, in such a way that an FIR was lodged against him. On the other hand, Apoorva, who is known as 'Rebel Kid', was also dragged down in the controversy due to her alleged use of abusive language.
