Gaurav Taneja, a.k.a. 'Flying Beast' made headlines yet again with his claims of having sales of Rs. 1 crore within an hour of launching his product on the business reality show, Shark Tank India 4. While judges loved his presence on the show, he received some remarks from the sharks, and one of them was being called 'terrible entrepreneur' by Anupam Mittal. After this, Gaurav added it to his LinkedIn bio, which received mixed reactions from netizens.
A user on LinkedIn noticed how Gaurav Taneja changed his bio to Anupam Mittal's words, 'Good influencer, terrible entrepreneur'. The post further called Gaurav a marketing genius, but netizens who have been following Gaurav since the beginning called him a terrible influencer. The said post can be read as:
"Gaurav Taneja went to Shark Tank. Anupam Mittal called him a good influencer and a terrible entrepreneur. He comes back and owns the title. Marketing genius!"
Soon, netizens shared their opinion and how Gaurav used his children for content. One user wrote, "If someone is using their 1-year-old child just to gain views on their low-quality content, I personally don't consider that to fall under the umbrella of being an influencer. No offence intended, just sharing my perspective."
Another one recalled how Gaurav used his 'separation with wife' as a content and penned, "100% agreed with you, sir. He is the one who used his short term separation with his wife as a content making on Instagram. Don't know why we call them an Influencer."
Some even came in support of Gaurav and expressed how he used the criticism as fuel to move on. One netizen penned, "Gaurav certainly knows how to turn feedback into fuel! Looking forward to seeing how he embraces this title, maybe he'll teach us all a thing or two about marketing genius along the way!"

During the Shark Tank India 4 episode, Gaurav Taneja pitched his whey protein brand, and his partner revealed that they were able to make sales worth Rs. 1 crore in an hour. They revealed that they were able to generate the sale even though their website was password protected. It left the sharks highly impressed, Aman Gupta said:
"That is a dream for a lot of businesses."
Gaurav Taneja's appearance for Shark Tank India 4 left his fans and even the sharks in shock. The pilot-turned-Youtuber decided to establish his own whey protein brand, Beast Life. The sharks seemed to be impressed by the YouTuber and asked questions about his revenue and income from YouTube. Vineeta had a very valid question about why he needs investment from them when he earns crores from social media.
