Dancing With The Stars is a famous reality competition where celebrities are paired with professional dancers to perform routines each week, and viewers vote and the judges score them. DWTS is running its 34th season, and the 8th week aired on November 4, 2025. The theme of the night was Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Night, where the remaining eight pairs performed on the rock hits in honour of the upcoming Hall of Fame induction. Well, it was after week 8 results on the 34th season that Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov were eliminated.
One of the highlights of the night was the performance was Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy. The duo performed Paso Doble to Bon Jovi's Livin' on a Prayer, scoring 39 out of 40. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli gave 10s to Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy.

It was the guest judge, Flavor Flav, who gave Alix and Val a score of 9, which ruled out the possibility for the dancing duo of the ABC Celebrity ballroom to mark the first perfect score of the season. It was Alix's stepmother who reacted the same way. A video recently surfaced on TikTok showing Alix's stepmom, Ashley Dupré, watching the episode and cheering for the contestant and her partner. She also, in the caption, penned:
"See, I can behave. So proud of our girl! Go Al & Val!"

For the unversed, Alix's stepmom, Ashley Dupré, made headlines a week after commenting on guest judge Cheryl Burke. While each of the judges gave the duo 10, it was guest judge Cheryl Burke who gave them '9'. Well, it was Alix's stepmom, Ashley Dupré, who took to TikTok to comment about Burke, which didn't go down well, and Burke also hit back at Ashley. She commented on her weight loss and said:
"Oh, go take more Ozempic! She looks weird. Doesn’t even look like her.”

In an interview with PEOPLE, Flavor Flav talked about scoring 9 with Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy. He said he was meant to give the duo 10 and not a 9 and the rapper 'accidentally' did the same.
