Fire Country, created by Tony Phelan, Joan Rater, and Max Thieriot, shakes things up with a new plot and cast. Shawn Hatosy joins Season 4 as ‘Brett Richards,’ a new firefighter hoping to bring hope to the department. He is joining as 'Battalion Chief Richards' after the death of the character ‘Vince Leone.’ Max Thieriot has starred as ‘Bode Leone,’ who writes and co-creates the series. He is coming back in season 4. Kevin Alejandro plays ‘Manny Perez' while Jordan Calloway as ‘Jake Crawford.' Jules Latimer and Diane Farr will join as ‘Eve Edwards’ and ‘Sharon Leone’ respectively.
Stephanie Arcila (‘Gabriela Perez’) and Billy Burke (‘Vince Leon’) exited the action drama after season 3. Both Arcila and Burke were original cast members and won't be joining the cast of the action drama series.
Fans have loved ‘Gabriela’s character and her on-and-off relationship and chemistry with ‘Bode Leon.’ Tony Phelan, the writer of the series, said in an interview that there would be more in store for ‘Gabriela’ and ‘Bode.’ He said that their character needed a reset, and the story doesn’t end here, but it will go on. Tony said:
“We felt like [Bode and Gabriela] needed a reset. We love Stephanie, and we are committed to saying that the Bode-Gabriela story does not end here, it goes on. We’re hoping that we can bring [Gabriela] back, because we think that they have such great chemistry, and the audience is really invested in the two of them. But we felt, with everything that’s happening in the finale and moving on into the next season, that it was time for that character to discover what’s next for her.”
Created by Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater, Fire Country stars Thieriot as ‘Bode Donovan,’ a young man with a troubled past that led him to prison. He was asked to join the California Conservation Camp Program to reduce his sentence, where he will work as a firefighter aomg with others. But his journey was not easy as ‘Bode’ was sent to his hometown, Edgewater, as a firefighter, where he had his complicated past. 'Bode' not only battles blazes but also confronts lingering tensions from his past, working under the same roof as his parents and encountering familiar faces from his earlier life.
