Fawad Khan is one of the leading stars of the Pakistani film industry, and his popularity simply doesn’t require an introduction. Not just in Pakistan, but even in India, he enjoys a massive fandom, and people seem to go gaga over just one glimpse of him. For the unversed, the charismatic actor had worked in Indian films including Khoobsurat, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Kapoor And Sons, which led to him fetch immediate fame and recognition. While rumours are rife that Fawad is all set to make a comeback in Bollywood, the actor recently talked about his friendship with Indian stars.
In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Fawad Khan reminisced his good old memories of working in the Indian film industry in three popular films. He then added being in touch with many actors and producers with whom he has worked with, including Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Karan Johar, Shakun Batra and more. Despite murmurs of ill-will, Fawad highlighted that they continue to have the same amount of respect for one another, and added that for him, the love is never lost. In his words:

“I'm in touch on and off. Hamari baat ho jaati hai kabhi chat pe and on phone so I've been in touch and I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family and there is still a lot of love and respect even with Karan and Shakun so dostiyaan hai and then there's some producers friends jiske saath gaap shap lagi rehti hai aur then we make plans of meeting somewhere so on and off we talk, we keep in touch and we're still very cordial and still very friendly and there's no love lost."

Previously, a report by Filmfare revealed that Pakistani actor, Fawad Khan would be making his comeback in Bollywood, as he has recently signed an Indian film. The shooting of the untitled project will begin sometime in September 2024 and will feature none other than the actress, Vaani Kapoor along with him in the lead role. Interestingly, most of the shooting of this film is slated to be conducted in London.
It was in 2014 when Fawad Khan made his debut in Bollywood in the film, Khoobsurat, that starred Sonam Kapoor as the lead opposite him. The movie was loved by masses and went onto became a cult-favourite romantic number for many. Earlier, while speaking on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast, Excuse Me, Fawad remembered the memories of working in the film, which was super special for him. He narrated:
“Coming back to Khoobsurat, I wasn't thinking I was just like I was riding the wave, and I had a great time. Those journeys were memorable for me because the teams that I worked with had such synergies there was no negative vibe it was only positive at least that's what I felt.”

Despite being an actor with an over-powering number of female fan following, Fawad Khan, in his personal life, is committed to the only woman in his life, his wife, Sadaf Khan. The duo fell in love at the tender age of 17 and after a pretty long and challenging courtship period, finally got hitched in 2005.
