Farah Khan Reacts To Fans Calling Aryan Khan Her 'Worthy Successor' After 'The Ba***ds Of Bollywood'

Since, almost a month, Aryan Khan has been enjoying the success of his directorial debut web-series, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. While most fans are appreciating the narrative of the series, there are some fans, who compared Aryan to Farah Khan and shared that he is the worthy successor of the choreographer-turned-director. Farah Khan reveals what Gauri Khan told her after the release of the series

Most recently, Farah Khan and her cook, Dilip visited Raghav Juyal’s house after his blockbuster performance in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series. While talking about the series, a proud Farah Khan revealed a sweet incident, where Gauri Khan called the director and told her:

"Mujhe Gauri ka phone aaya. She said you are not in the show at all. But sabse zyada publicity teri ho rahi hai. Ki Aryan Farah ka beta hai. Ki she is a teacher, he is a very good student." 

Hearing this, Raghav Juyal recalled the reaction of netizens and mentioned that fans' feel the era of Farah's direction has finally returned. He said, "Baad mein to aise hi ho raha tha ki Farah Khan’s filmmaking is back." Then Farah also mentioned that she has come across reels, where fans called Aryan her worthy successor. In response, the Happy New Year director nodded in agreement and revealed:

"Who better than Aryan yaar? Also, I never knew that Om Shanti Om is his favourite movie. He has never told me."

Why was Aryan Khan compared to Farah Khan?

Aryan Khan's directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood was released on September 18, 2025, and within hours, fans started to compare Aryan Khan with Farah Khan for multiple reasons. One of the major reasons for the comparison was the self-deprecating and inside jokes. Another reason was the larger-than-life visuals, star-studded cameos and energetic songs. The third and most important thing was exaggerating clichés. 

Majorly, these three things made fans call Aryan the worthy successor of Farah Khan. One user on X commented, "Aryan Khan was the Farah Khan we needed all along." Another user wrote, "The way #TheBadsOfBollywood was so self aware, meta, cheesy, brainrot, satirical – it had Farah Khan’s stamp all over, she would be so proud of him actually."
