Fandy, an American Twitch streamer famous for playing video games on the world's largest live-streaming platform, broke the internet on October 7, 2025. Fandy is popular among Twitch users for playing World of Warcraft and League of Legends for her massive fandom. However, she was away from her gaming setup during her last Twitch stream. Fandy's last live stream wasn't about gaming; instead, it was a defining moment in her life, and interestingly, her Twitch career as well.
Ahead of the stream on October 7, Fandy took to her X handle and informed her followers that her water broke and she would be going live. She also provided a link to her Twitch stream so people can literally watch her giving birth. Yes! You read that right. Here's what she tweeted on X that left most of the users shocked.
"Hi twitter my water just broke so I think I'm going this live. Baby time http://twitch.tv/fandy."
As soon as Fandy shared the link to her Twitch stream in her tweet, several people joined the live stream to be part of internet history. It was the first time people had seen a woman giving birth on a live stream. The stream went for eight and a half hours (almost nine hours) long as Fandy documented the entire labour process on the live stream in front of tens of thousands of viewers. The American influencer gave birth to her baby in the living room of her house in a water tub.
Just when Twitch users thought they had seen all the unpredictable things being live-streamed on the platform, American influencer Fandy came up with the idea of streaming her delivery. While the idea has divided the internet, Fandy's live stream reached a peak of 29,489 viewers, gaining her global fame in a single day. What's interesting is that Twitch's CEO, Dan Clancy, also joined Fandy's record-breaking live stream and even gave a green flag to her questionable decision to deliver a baby on stream. Dan penned a short note for the newbie mommy and wished her luck for the future. His message could be read as:
"Fandy. Best of luck and congratulations. Wishing you the best in this journey."
Talking about Fandy's child birth live stream, people saw her going through contractions, changing positions in the inflatable birthing pool, and her husband, Adam (sometimes styled "Adamax"), supporting his wife. At the end of the stream, Adam described the whole experience as "insane" and thanked family members, support team, and the viewers who joined. Although no official details are available at this time, early reports suggest that Fandy has given birth to a baby girl, whom she has named Luna Rose.

People on the internet are divided; some argue that Fandy has the right to stream anything she wants, and if someone doesn't like it, they should unfollow her. People are also mentioning that Fandy informed everyone about the content she would be showing on her Twitch stream, so there's no reason for people to be distressed about it, as they joined the stream voluntarily. However, on the other side, a section of internet users criticised Fandy for turning her baby's birth into content. One user wrote:
"You actually have no shame do you? Milking your literal barely born child for content is so incredibly disgusting."
More than Fandy, people are angry at Twitch CEO, Dan Clancy, who joined Fandy's live-stream and even congratulated her. Many people are concerned that Clancy's stance on Fandy's stream may encourage other users to attempt such critical medical procedures online, potentially leading to a tragic outcome. One user wrote, "Dan Clancy and everybody in that room needs to be arrested. They didn't commit a crime; we just can't have people like this a part of society." While the matter is up for debate on the internet, people are curious to know more about Fandy's background; as a result, she is topping trending charts.
American Influencer, Fandy's real name is 'Cady', and she was born on November 18, 1992. She resides in Austin, Texas, and started her Twitch streaming journey in January 2015. Fast forward to 2025, and she has 414.1K followers on her X handle, 300K on her Instagram handle, and 370K followers on her Twitch account. Fandy is a well-known name in the gaming community, and now that her delivery stream has gone viral on the internet, she is likely to gain more followers on her social media platforms.
