Fahadh Faasil joined hands with renowned filmmaker, Jithu Madhavan in 2023 to work together in the Malayalam film, Aavesham. The film was produced by Fahadh's wife, Nazriya Nazim Fahadh and Anwar Rasheed. It was released in theatres on April 11, 2024, and broke several records at the box office. While Fahadh's character, 'Ranjith Ranga Gangadharan', became a meme material on social media, Aavesham grossed Rs. 100 crores worldwide.
After the gigantic success of Avesham, Fahadh Faasil is all set to make 2024 a memorable year for himself as he has three big-budget films in the pipeline. He will play the role of 'IPS Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat' in Pushpa 2: The Rule, will feature with Rajinikanth in Vettaiyan, and will appear in Maareesan alongside iconic actor, Vadivelu. Fahadh Faasil's Aavesham was released in April, and in May, the ace Malayalam actor broke shocking news about him with his massive fanbase. While speaking to children at Peace Valley Children's Village in nearby Kothamangalam, Fahadh revealed that he was clinically diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) at the age of 41. The actor further added that he is not suffering any serious damage from ADHD at the moment but confirmed that he is experiencing some significant traits of the disorder.
The revelation caught everyone's attention and made people more aware of the neurodiverse condition. For the unversed, ADHD can seriously hamper an individual's social relationships and work performance. People with ADHD experience inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and lacking concentration. Fahadh Faasil is not experiencing the serious consequences of ADHD at the moment, but he is actively looking for treatment. He said:
"He (doctor) told me it can be easily cured if it is diagnosed at a young age. I asked whether it can be cured if it is diagnosed at the age of 41. I am clinically ADHD diagnosed."
