Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes started trending in 2022 when reports of them being married went viral. The reports emerged from Eva’s Instagram post in November 2022, featuring a tattoo. The tattoo read “de Gosling”, which unites the last name of a woman with the last name of her husband after marriage. Although the pair did not respond to the reports immediately, Eva described Ryan as her husband while speaking on Today on Channel Nine. Eva later clarified on the Kyle and Jackie O Show that she got the tattoo many years ago, adding that a lot of funny questions were asked to her after she shared the photo.
