Euphoria season 3 has been one of the most anticipated projects of recent times. It's been four years since the troubled lives of teens of East Highland High School hit the small screens. HBO released a new trailer for Euphoria season 3, and it will air on April 12, 2026, and will continue to entertain the audience with eight episodes.
The trailer, while it didn't give away everything, surely gave a slight view of what to expect as the troubled teens are not stuck in adolescence; rather, they will be carrying forward with the aftereffects of the actions taken before. Amid this, the budget of Euphoria season 3 and the reason behind the series coming after almost four years are revealed.
If the reports are to be believed, Euphoria season 3 is going to be simply different from what we have seen in the HBO show before. If the reports are to be believed, the series has a budget of USD 200 million, making it one of the most expensive projects of the network. Earlier information about the cast's salary also made rounds on social media.
If the reports are to be believed, Zendaya, who plays the role of 'Rue Bennett', was paid USD 1 million per episode on the show. Sydney Sweeney, reportedly earned USD 800K per episode, while some other reports claimed that she got the same amount as Zendaya. Jacob Elordi, who plays the role of 'Nate' in the series, was reportedly paid USD 700K per episode, while Alexa Demie, who plays 'Maddy Perez', reportedly took home around USD 600K.
The trailer, which was recently dropped by HBO, showed that there will be something that has never been shown before in the show. Instead of picking up where season 2 left off, season 3 will begin with the consequences of the previous season and the decisions that were made. There's a huge time jump and a more complicated evolution of the characters, like 'Rue Bennett'. With the leap and the consequences, season 3 already gets a new narrative weight, driven by chaos.

The season will surely be an intense one, and it's beautifully crafted in a way that seemingly will keep the audience hooked to the screens. Euphoria season 3's trailer shows emotional breakdown, fallout, legal trouble, and more, which suggests nothing has changed or been resolved, for that matter. 'Cassie', an adult content creator, married 'Nate', but her former bestie, 'Maddy', returns to help her in creating content, so there will surely be emotional turns and twists in the series. Eric Dane, who passed away a month ago, will be seen in the series.
It's been four years since season 2 ended, and there is no denying the fact that fans of the series have been eagerly waiting for season 3 to hit the screens soon. Well, season 3's delay was caused by several reasons, possibly. One of the major characters of season 2, 'Fezco', played by Angus Cloud, died at the age of 25, and in season 2, his role ended in a major cliffhanger, which somewhat affected the process. Well, the other stars of the series also have had their other professional commitment to fulfil.
