Speaking to W Magazine, Sweeney revealed that the incident took place when she was 10 years old and was out for wakeboarding. The actress was trying to do a stunt, mainly the 360 one, when the tip of the board came up and struck her face, leaving an injury that required 17 stitches. While the wound vanished over the years, the scar remained prominent. Not only this, but Sweeney even tore her MCL while dirt-bike riding, which left her with another scar.

Speaking to Glamour, Sweeney revealed that she used to feel uncomfortable while being in school and would wear loose-fitting t-shirts. She mentioned that she even considered getting a job done, but her mom stopped her from doing the same, and it turned out to be the best thing she did, as she actually listened to her mom. Sweeney could be quoted as saying:

"When I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were. I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller. My mom told me, ‘Don't do it. You'll regret it in college.' And I'm so glad I didn't. I like them. They're my best friends. Everybody's body is beautiful. When you are confident and you're happy within is when it really shows to other people."

Did Sydney Sweeney actually get plastic surgery? She gained 30 pounds for a role

It was only a few days ago that Sweeney was making headlines for her transformation to play the role of 'Christy Martin' in the movie, Christy. For the same, the actress had to go through rigorous training for three and a half months.

To answer, the actress denied going under the knife and getting any kind of plastic surgery. Speaking to Variety, Sweeney said that she is just scared of needles and has never gotten any surgery done. She was quoted as saying:

"I have never gotten any work done. I am too scared of needles. You cannot compare a photo of me from when I was 12 to a photo of me at 26 with professional makeup and lighting. Of course, I'm gonna look different! Everybody on social media is insane! Also, if I did, you guys, my face would be even."
