Esha Deol Is 'Open To Falling In Love' Amid Ex-Husband, Bharat Takhtani's Relationship Confirmation

Esha Deol's ex-husband, Bharat Takhtani recently hard launched his current beau, Megha Lakhani, on Instagram. After more than a year of his separation from Esha, his post with Megha confirmed that he has moved on and found love again. But what about Esha Deol? Has she found someone she'd like to start a new relationship with? The Bollywood star recently put an end to all speculations around her relationship status during an interview with ETimes.

Has Esha Deol moved on with someone after her divorce from Bharat Takhtani?

Esha Deol finally answered the question her fans had been eagerly awaiting an answer to. She has moved on in life after her February 2024 divorce with businessman, Bharat Takhtani; however, she revealed that she is currently 'single'. The Dhoom actress told ETimes that the experience didn't make her shut herself off from love. She still considered love as the 'most beautiful feeling and phase in a person's life' and was open to dating someone if it felt right. Although she hasn't found someone she likes yet, she was open to the thought. Sharing her belief in the feeling of love, she said:

"I will always believe in falling in love. One should keep falling in love."

Esha felt that one should let love embrace them, even if it happens multiple times. However, she also believed that while love is a wonderful feeling, it shouldn't define a person entirely. According to her, love should be a part of everyone's life, not the whole of it. The actress might have said that from her personal experience, where she took a break from her acting career to start a family and raise her children. Regarding not letting love' be-all and end-all', Esha stated:

"Having love and companionship in life is wonderful. However, it is not your be-all and end-all."

During the same interview, Esha Deol shared the current state of her relationship with her ex-husband, Bharat Takhtani, a year after their divorce. She didn't comment on his new partner, Megha Lakhani and their bond. Instead, she kept her statements constricted to his current dynamics with her. She admitted they had their differences; however, their love for their children was greater, which is why they agreed to be their best around them.

She mentioned that she and Bharat were trying their best at co-parenting their daughters, almost 8-year-old, Radhya and 6-year-old, Kiraya. According to her, it was their responsibility as parents to give their kids the love and care they deserve. Speaking about her and Bharat's role as co-parents, Esha said:

"Bharat and I are co-parenting our daughters. That's something you chose to do because you love your kids so much."

Does Esha Deol have plans for her daughters' entry into Bollywood?

In the same interview, Esha stated that her daughters were 'filmy', but also clarified that they were too young to think about Bollywood or acting. They were currently focusing on their academics and enjoying the Bollywood influence that their mother, Esha and grandmother, Hema Malini, were bringing to their lives. Esha shared that her daughters enjoy dancing to songs from both her filmography and their grandmother's. Some of their favourites include Dhoom Machale, Dilbara and Bhoot Raja Bahar Aaja.
