Elsie Hewitt Welcomes Baby Girl With Beau Pete Davidson, Newborn's Name Honours SNL Alum's Late Dad

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt just got promoted to parents. Yes! The couple recently welcomed a baby girl into their lives. It was in March 2025, when Page Six reported that the SNL alum, Pete Davidson, was seeing someone else, completely different from his past girlfriends. It was in the same month that the couple made their relationship IG official with some of the adorable posts.

Following this, in May 2025, the couple moved in together in Brooklyn to see where things went. It was in July 2025 when Elsie Hewitt took to her social media handle to announce that she and Pete were expecting. And now, the couple is over the moon as they have become parents to their baby girl.

A while ago, taking to her IG handle, Elsie Hewitt shared a bunch of photos from her motherhood journey so far. The snaps were filled with the cutesy glimpses of Pete and Elsie's newborn, and one of the photos was from the hospital room. Sharing the post, Elsie revealed that her angel arrived on December 12, 2025. She also revealed her adorable name, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson. Elsie mentioned that it's her best work yet, and she is overflowing with love and gratitude. While Pete said 'Wu Tang forever' as they are on the new phases of their lives.

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt chose the name Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson for their daughter, and it's beautiful as well as meaningful, as it honours the SNL alum's late father. Scottie is named after Pete's father, Scott Davidson, who was a firefighter in New York City. Pete was only 7 years old when he lost his father, and to him, Scott Davidson was a 'hero' and a 'legend'. Pete's father lost his life while responding to a terrorist attack on the Twin Towers back in 2001.

There's no denying the fact that naming his daughter after his late dad is something that is extremely heartwarming and meaningful. In a previous interview with E! Online, Elsie Hewitt's beau, Pete, revealed that he was very happy and excited about being a father, and he also mentioned that he is eager to take care of a tiny human and show her what childhood is, something that he could never have. He also mentioned that he had dreamed of becoming a dad when he was little, and while people's dreams change, his dream to be a dad and provide the best life for his child has never faded. He could be quoted as saying:

"Very lucky and very, very happy to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn’t have. I assume you just try to give them what you didn’t have, and what you didn’t like, not do it. It’s been my dream since I was little, which is cool. When you have dreams when you're little and then you get older, sometimes those feelings change—that didn’t change for me."

For the unversed, Elsie and Pete started dating in March 2025, and within a few months, they let their followers know that they were taking a step forward as a tiny human would join them. Elsie was previously romantically linked with Selena Gomez's current husband, Benny Blanco, while Pete Davidson dated Kim Kardashian to Ariana Grande, among others.
