Elnaaz Norouzi Read Books On Psychology For 'The Traitors', Prepped For Months, '..Be Well Prepared'

Elnaaz Norouzi is an Iranian-German actress who has primarily worked in Bollywood. With an array of roles in various web series, she became a familiar on-screen face. However, after participating in Amazon Prime's The Traitors, the actress has become quite popular among fans. Recently, Elnaaz, who wasn't seen as a competitor by other contestants in the show due to her supposed lack of understanding of the game, surprised everyone with her mastermind gameplay. The actress has now revealed that she prepared for 6 months for this moment. 

Elnaaz Norouzi's master plan that fooled everyone in The Traitors 

For the first six weeks, Elnaaz Norouzi was perceived as an innocent and gullible person who did not understand what was happening in the game at all. As a foreigner and lacking an understanding of Hindi, many of her co-contestants also saw the actress as someone easy to manipulate. Anshula Kapoor, who was also a participant on the show, said in an interview with Zoom that Elnaaz was the most entertaining player. Anshula also said that even though she was staying with Elnaaz inside the same house, she never picked up on her act of pretending to be innocent. However, after Elnaaz revealed herself to be the traitor, everyone realised that she was the one manipulating everyone. Anshula said about Elnaaz:

"Here on TV, we only get to see one hour of that full day. I have lived 16–16 hours of her being that innocent, gullible person and not been able to pick up on it. So for me, it's even more mazedaar to be like, oh my god! And I have no problem saying I got fully played by her. But I'm okay with it because that was the game. At the end of the day, she had to protect herself as the traitor."

Elnaaz Norouzi said that she read books on Human Psychology 

Elnaaz Norouzi shared a video on her YouTube channel where she discussed how she prepared herself for The Traitors. The actress said that everyone being deceived by her did not come from nowhere. She was well-read and well-prepared. Elnaaz read four books before participating on the show. One of them was called How to Make Your Audience Fall in Love with You, which was about acting. Then she read numerous books on human psychology to understand the other participants' psyche. Elnaaz said that The Laws of Human Nature gave her a lot of insights. Additionally, she also listened to audiobooks, such as Telling Lies and How to Read People Like a Book.

Elnaaz Norouzi said that it was scary for her when she initially started learning all these things, but it ultimately made her game strong. The actress stated that everything needs hard work and preparation. Elnaaz then mentioned that she did not prepare herself to win, but rather to just do well on the show. The actress stated:

"Everything needs preparation, everything needs a lot of hard work. If you get into something without knowing what you’re doing, without having studied it properly, you might just do well to a certain extent… It wasn’t about winning, it was about doing well on the show.”
