Dancing with the Stars will soon announce its Season 34 winner. However, it seems they are not yet ready to reveal their secret move. There has been intense buzz around the show and how many votes their favourite pair is getting. While some have even called the show out for not being transparent about its earnings, the show's producers have made it clear that their decision won't change anytime soon.
With Dancing with the Stars Season 34 almost reaching its conclusion, fans have been wondering if the makers will now let them see how many votes their favourite dancing pair has received. However, will executive producer and showrunner Conrad Green ever share that sacred data? It doesn't seem like it.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, published November 25, 2025 (ET), Green revealed that releasing the stats would 'disincentivize people'. Conrad Green shared that a veil ensures that the system is completely blind, because otherwise, fans would know exactly who to vote for, making the system 'prejudiced'. He was quoted as saying:
"I'd prefer not to. Releasing the stats has a very strong chance of disincentivizing people from taking part or might affect the votes going forward, because people understand who to vote for. In all kinds of ways, like any election or vote, you don't want to be prejudicing the election or vote."

In the same conversation, Conrad Green revealed how much public voting affected who was eliminated each week. The executive producer revealed that "it's 50/50" based on the judges' scores from Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. Each couple receives ranking points based on their placement on the judges' leaderboard, which is then combined with the public vote. The show also has a failsafe in place in case of a tie: the couple who receives the fewest public votes is sent home.

Conrad Green further revealed that public votes were an important part of Dancing with the Stars. He shared that the voting system has been incorporated into the show to "level the playing field," as the cast is often made up of both dancers and non-dancers. Elaborating on the same, he further added:

"When you look at this current cast, Elaine Hendrix was a professional dancer in her youth. Hilaria Baldwin has the most ballroom and Latin background of anyone. Whitney [Leavitt] competed at dance when she was younger in Utah. Alix Earle competed at dance when she was younger. On the other side, you've got Dylan [Efron] and Robert [Irwin], who have no real background, and Andy Richter, or Jordan [Chiles] has great athletic ability that is a sort of superpower."
Conrad Green revealed that, as the show features both dancers and non-dancers, this "indicates that these two things can live together in the same show and still feel great." The showrunner is especially proud of how Dancing with the Stars has fared during season 34, with the "pleasure and joy it's bringing to people." He added:
"To see new people engaging with it has been a great pleasure. I'm very proud of the show and everyone who works on it for pulling that off."
