At the premiere episode of the reality show, The Traitors, the makers of the show revealed that Donna is a 'traitor'. It is worth mentioning that the reality show was shot in a Scottish castle. In the premiere episode, Donna Kelce got involved in a strategy with Rob Cesternino to target another contestant. Together, they even eliminated another contestant. However, that elimination raised questions on Donna, as contestants started suspecting her role in the show.

Donna Kelce’s fellow contestants feared backlash for voting her out

After Donna Kelce raised doubts among her fellow contestants, they had decided to vote her out. However, it was reported that the contestants of the show feared voting for Donna. They felt that if they vote out Travis Kelce's mother, the fans of the NFL star and Taylor Swift might troll them. Later, the host of the show, Alan Cumming also confirmed the same and shared that the contestants were scared of Swifties. On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host was quoted as saying:

"The players talk about it quite a lot. They were like ‘I’m a bit worried about the Swifties. What they’ll do if we banish Donna."

When Donna Kelce’s eldest son opened up about the show

In June 2025, multiple reports had claimed that Donna Kelce will be participating in the reality show, The Traitors. Around the same time, Donna’s eldest son, Jason Kelce had revealed that his mother is ‘too sweet’ for the show; however, it will be interesting to see how she performs in the show. While talking to Entertainment Tonight in July 2025, Jason had mentioned:

"She is too sweet and kind. I feel like in that show, you have to be manipulative and cunning, and you’ve gotta be cutthroat. So I don’t know, we’ll see. I’m anxious to see how she did."

When and where to watch the reality show, The Traitors?

The reality show, The Traitors season 4 premiered on January 8, 2026. In the United States, the show is available on Peacock. It is worth mentioning that new episodes will drop every Thursday. The first three episodes of the show are already available. Talking about the format of the show, a few contestants are secretly designed 'traitors', whose aim is to eliminate others. The remaining players try to identify the 'traitors' and eliminate them before they do. 

Reportedly, the contestants of the show include Donna Kelce, Porsha Williams, Rob Cesternino, Ian Terry, Lisa Rinna, Colton Underwood and more. In the first few episodes, four contestants were eliminated, which includes Porsha Williams, Donna Kelce, Rob Cesternino and Ian Terry were eliminated from the reality show. It is also worth mentioning that a few months ago, the show was recreated in India, which was hosted by filmmaker, Karan Johar.
