Bigg Boss 19, the game show hosted by Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, is close to its grand finale. According to multiple reports, the grand finale is set to premiere on December 7, 2025. Now that the show is gearing up to wrap, the dynamics inside the house are changing by the minute. Among the nine contestants on Bigg Boss 19, Tanya Mittal is shining brighter with her exaggerated nature. Now, in a recent episode, her relationship with her mom has been questioned by her fellow contestants.

During a recent episode of Bigg Boss 19, the TV actor, Gaurav Khanna, seemed curious about the spiritual influencer’s family and asked Tanya Mittal who would be visiting her during the family week. She replied that it would be her aunts. Hearing her reply, Shehbaz Badesha and Mridul Tiwari questioned the influencer that why her mom won’t visit her on the show. Many times, Tanya was seen sharing her grief with her fellow contestants about missing her mom.

Even in one episode, she cried inconsolably when Kunickaa Sadanand slammed her and asked, "Mummy ne sanskaar nahi diye?" This led Shehbaz to question Tanya, "The video that had come, was it from your mother or aunt?" For the unversed, earlier, the contestants of Bigg Boss 19 received a surprise video clip from their family members on the show. Hearing Shehbaz’s question, Tanya said that it was her mom. In return, Shehbaz asked Tanya, "If the video was from your mother, she could also come and visit you. Is she so upset that she won’t come?"

Tanya then added that she thinks that one of her aunts will come during the family week. She revealed that earlier she had given the team details about her aunt, as she was unsure whether her mom would come. She mentioned that she gave the numbers of her three friends and two relatives. Later, Shehbaz Badesha noted that Tanya rarely speaks openly about her family. She was quoted as saying:

"I think one of my aunts will come. It will be great if my dadu comes. If she (mother) comes, I will be happy. But I gave details about my aunt to the team because when I was coming on the show, I wasn’t sure if my mother would come. I have given the numbers of three friends and two relatives."

Tanya Mittal has drawn a lot of attention for her statements about her lavish lifestyle and more. However, her emotional side was also reflected on the show, Bigg Boss 19. She was often seen teary-eyed due to clashes with her fellow contestants. However, earlier, during a nomination task, Tanya cried inconsolably after Kunickaa Sadanand slammed her. The actress personally attacked the spiritual influencer and said, "Your mother didn’t even teach you basic manners." This statement made Tanya sad, and she broke down in tears. She mentioned that her mother is everything to her. She later highlighted how difficult it was for her to establish herself. She was quoted as saying:

"My mother is everything. Mera mumma meri bhagwaan hai. She cannot bring up my mother in the task. Main bahut mushkil se yahan tak pahunchi hu."

Following this, Tanya revealed her dark, traumatic past. She added that her dad used to beat her, while her mom protected her. She was just 19 when she was almost married off. In her words:

"My father used to beat me, and my mother would save me. Bahut mushkil se business shuru kiya hai maine, permission mila saree pehen ne ki, bahar nikalne ki. I was 19 when I was almost going to get married off to, I wanted to di*."
