Divya Agarwal Reveals Why She Lives Separately From Her Husband, 'No Intentions To Have Babies...'

For the past few months, there has been constant chatter about Divya Agarwal facing issues in her marriage with Apurva Padgaonkar. It was stated that Divya got married to Apurva for money, and soon after their wedding, problems started cropping up. It was also stated that she and her husband live separately.

Divya Agarwal reveals the reason behind living separately from her husband, Apurva Padgaonkar

In an interaction with Free Press Journal, Divya Agarwal spoke about the divorce rumours surrounding her husband, Apurva Padgaonkar, and shared that he is the best thing that has happened to her. When asked about their equation of living separately, Divya stated that he lives with his parents and she lives closer to her workplace.

In the same interaction, Divya also shared the reason they were not living together as expected for a couple after they got married. Elaborating on the same, she said:

“Staying separately is such a beautiful concept I will tell you very honestly. I am a person who loves my space. And same goes with my husband who loves his space. So, for him involving someone into his space you know when he had no intentions to get married and settle down. We have no intentions to have babies. So, it was a very beautiful decision took by us where I will stay in a separate space. He’ll stay in a separate space. There was a point in life when we used to stay together. We had no chats except doodh mangwaana hai, chai banani hai, bhaaji laani hai and that life become quite mundane.”

For the unversed, Divya Agarwal married Apurva Padgaonkar in 2024. Within a few days of their wedding, Divya's separation from Apurva Padgaonkar began. In 2025, she deleted every post featuring Apurva, and soon rumours of their split began to circulate. Some users started claiming that Divya and Apurva might have separated just a few days after their marriage. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Divya revealed that it's obnoxious how people believe stories without proper information and go around spreading them like rumours.

In one of the episodes of The 50, Divya Agarwal had a huge fight with fellow contestant, Bhavya Singh. During the fight, Bhavya made a few remarks about Divya Agarwal’s marriage and hinted that all is not well between Divya and her husband, Apurva. Revealing how she doesn’t live with her husband, Apurva, Bhavya said:

“Diwali par asli phatake toh iske ghar par poothe the, aur maine phode the Aur aaj tak maine kabhi bola nahi woh... aur na kabhi podcast par na kabhi kuch. Bheek maangte hain logon se Mumbai mein ke mere ghar aajao... aap mere paas aajao, please milo mujhse...alag rehti hai apne pati se.”
