Dipika Kakar is a popular actress on Hindi television who rose to fame with her show, Sasural Simar Ka and fans got to see her real personality on Bigg Boss 12. Her polite nature, honesty and family values have captured the hearts of audiences. The actress maintained that connection with her fans by posting day-to-day vlogs from her personal life. In the heartwarming videos on her channel, Dipika Ki Duniya, she shares her unique homemade recipes, festive celebrations, and other interesting moments. Recently, Dipika Kakar revealed how her sister-in-law, Saba Ibrahim, encouraged her to start her YouTube channel. 

Dipika Kakar reveals she never planned to start a YouTube channel 

Dipika Kakar, who has 39.7 lakh followers on her YouTube channel, recently shared how she began her journey in vlogging. The actress is presently seen in Celebrity Masterchef: Masterclass. On the show, her fellow participant, Tejasswi Prakash, asked the actress how she began her YouTube journey and why she chose to focus on food. In her response, Dipika mentioned that her sister-in-law, Saba, motivated her to post her recipes online. Recalling the same, she said:

"Honestly, when I started my YouTube journey, it wasn't my idea. It was my sister-in-law, Saba, who told me that you have a lot to share in your Vlogs. I do a lot of DIY and crafts at home. I make a lot of little things. I love making food. She said, "Why don't you share it?' So I thought of giving it a shot."

Dipika explained that she never planned to make a YouTube channel or gain a certain number of followers. Instead, she wanted people to know more about her real personality and how cooking is a significant part of her life. Consequently, it was named Dipika Ki Duniya, which translates to Dipika's world, where she gives an insight into her life without any filters. In her words:

"It was never a planned thing. It was never about making a channel; It was about sharing my recipes. I just wanted to share what Dipika is like. That is why the name of my channel is Dipika Ki Duniya. It was always a zero-filter sneak peek into Dipika's world."

When Saba Ibrahim shared how Dipika Kakar is like a 'mother' to her

Saba opened up about her relationship with Dipika during one of her vlogs and shared that she has brought much joy and positivity to their life. She explained that when Dipika married her brother, Shoaib, she embraced his family and prioritised their happiness. Unlike the conflicts in other families, their bond is based on mutual respect and love. Saba said that Dipika cares for her like a mother, and their unique bond makes them a strong unit. Saba explained:

"Bhabhi bahut zyada hi achhi hai. Bhabhi ne bhai se kai guna zyada mohabbat di. Harr koi ek dusre ki khushi chahte hai aur Bhabhi ke dil me mamta bahut hai.”

Dipika Kakar made her TV debut with Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi in 2010 and became a household name with her show, Sasural Simar Ka in 2011. She also participated in Bigg Boss 12 and won the show. Later, she showcased her dancing skills in Nach Baliye 8 and was seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. On the personal front, the actress married Raunak Samson in 2011. However, the duo separated in 2015, and she married Shoaib Ibrahim in 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, a son, in 2023.
