'Usne Chhodh Diya..' Dipika Kakar's Co-Contestant Shares Why The Actress Left 'Celebrity MasterChef'

Dipika Kakar is one of the most talented actresses in the television world. The actress took a long break from her career after getting married to Shoaib Ibrahim. It was back in 2023, when Dipika gave birth to her first child, Ruhaan. Well, in 2025, Dipika again started working. First, she announced launching her clothing brand, followed by which, she got a chance in the cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef. Recently, reports were rife that Dipika has quit the show, Celebrity MasterChef, and her co-contestant, Usha Nadkarni recently confirmed the same.

Dipika Kakar has been winning hearts with her comeback to the screens with the show, Celebrity MasterChef. Not only this, but the actress also impressed everyone, including the judges with her cooking skills. And reports about her decision to quit the show left her fans sad. Reports claimed that Dipika chose to opt out of the show as she has been not keeping well with her health. While the actress or her team hasn't confirmed the news, it was Usha Nadkarni who recently shared that the buzz is actually true.

Usha Nadkarni recently sat for an interview with Aaj Tak's Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan, wherein she was asked about the rumours about Dipika Kakar leaving Celebrity MasterChef. Talking about the same, Usha shared that the buzz is actually true and Dipika's health is not well. She also added that the actress has been facing issues with her hand. It was a few days ago, when Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar, in their vlog, talked about the issue with the actress' hand. Well, Usha mentioned that as there's a bit of an issue with Dipika's hand, she can't cook properly, and this is why, she left the show. Usha can be quoted as saying:

"Dipika ki tabiyat barabar nahi, uska kuch haath ka problem hai. Toh woh barabar nahi kar sakti isliye usne chhodh diya hai."

When Dipika Kakar broke down in tears on Celebrity MasterChef

Earlier, in an episode of Celebrity MasterChef, Dipika Kakar was seen breaking down in tears as soon as the judges were left in awe of her cooking skills. To this, Farah Khan asked her the reason behind the same. Dipika shared that she wanted to represent those whom people judge for working in the home kitchen. She proudly said that she's a home cook. Let us tell you that Dipika had been trolled heavily due to leaving her career midway and opting to be a housewife for a few years.

When Dipika Kakar was dragged into the controversy by her ex-employee's claims

Dipika Kakar's ex-employee, Saniya earlier took to her YouTube vlog and shared her traumatic experience while working with the actress' clothing brand. Saniya came from Delhi to Mumbai to work with the actress, but she had to go through a major breakdown when Dipika got angry with her. While sharing the same, Saniya also revealed how Dipika fired her in 10 days after she got a show's offer, and that the former got to know from the actress' mom.
