Dipika Kakar's 'Sasural Simar Ka' Co-Star, Manish Reacts To Her Cancer Diagnosis, 'She Will Heal..'

Dipika Kakar and the entire Ibrahim family have been in shock ever since she was diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumour in her liver. A while ago, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed Dipika was diagnosed with stage II liver cancer. The actress was hospitalised due to it and is now preparing for her surgery. While Dipika has shown immense bravery and strength with her diagnosis, her former co-star, Manish Raisinghan, has also reacted to the same.

Manish Raisinghan has shared the screen with Dipika Kakar in the hit television show, Sasural Simar Ka. While Dipika has stepped away from the industry, she remains well-connected with her peers from her TV days. Now, Manish, in a conversation with Telly Talk, has reacted to Dipika's diagnosis. He called the news heartbreaking and added that she is a fighter and will recover soon. He shared that he has always seen her standing strong, and has more than enough reasons to defeat the disease. 

"It's heartbreaking to hear such horrific news about Dipika. But in the same breath, I will add that she is a fighter and an amazing soul. She will heal soon. Wishing her good health and a speedy recovery. As much as I know of her, I have always seen her standing strong for everything that she loves, and she has enough and more beautiful reasons to defeat cancer. Sending lots of prayers and positive energy for her."

Gaurav Khanna previously reacted to Dipika Kakar's diagnosis

A few days ago, Gaurav Khanna had also shared his well wishes with Dipika Kakar. The Anupamaa fame actor worked with Dipika during Celebrity Masterchef. He shared that they all have her in their prayers and asked Dipika to never lose hope. Among others, Shraddha Arya, Avika Gor, Kamya Punjabi, Gauahar Khan, Divya Agarwal, Tina Datta, Himanshi Khurana and Karanvir Sharma also sent wishes to Dipika. Gaurav was quoted as saying:

"Be strong Dipika.. we all have u in our prayers.. you will definitely defeat it .. never lose hope."

Dipika Kakar was diagnosed with stage II liver cancer

It was earlier this week when Dipika revealed that she was diagnosed with stage II liver cancer. The former actress shared the heartbreaking news after the doctors discovered a tennis ball-sized tumour on her liver, which was later confirmed to be cancerous. The actress shared the details of the same on her Instagram handle and assured her fans that she is not giving up.

Dipika further mentioned that she is all positive and determined to face this challenge head-on as her entire family is by her side. She also acknowledged her fans' prayers and wishes pouring in for her, and she knew that she would sail through it. She was quoted as saying:

"As you all are aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us… walking into the hospital for pain in the upper area of my stomach… and then finding out it was a tennis ball size tumour in the liver and then finding out that the tumour is Second stage Malignant (Cancerous) … it has been one of the most difficult times we have seen, experienced! I am all positive and determined to face this and walk out stronger InshaAllah! With my entire family being by my side … and All the LOVE and PRAYERS pouring in from all of you I will sail through this too!"
